Good point with mobility, but it didn't hinder Rooey. And at 92kg-is it strong enough for key position. Battle is courageous, but can he Battle? it out with the big boys.
Rooey and Battle completely different athletes

Just a scenario.
With recruiting Owens, Wanganeen-Milera & Windhager last draft.
It may be wise to go tall in this draft.
But, we still did miss an A-grade midfielder last season.
So could, the two Lachie's-Hunter & Whitfield both 28y.o's at the start of the season, give our midfield that boost.
Especially as Hill & Jones have been too inconsistent. And Clark, Gresham & McKenzie were injured for a large chunk of it.

Both have big tanks, both agile, both strong marks, both courageous, & Battle is still 23y.o & a better kick, with plenty of upside.
No B&F's or All-Australian, for Battle yet, though.
Battle just turned 24... But you do forget just how young he is. Just had his best season, really hope he can continue to build on that. As others have pointed out I'd be reluctant to move him out of the backline, but the idea of him as a gun forward is bloody enticing.

I know it's probably just super wishful thinking, but Haynes and 15 would be a dream result for us.

Well done, on doing this. Have you heard something re-Haynes & 15, seems far-fetched.
It's not a bad list, when you look at it, laid out like this. Don't mind the Anderson move too-be with his sister yeah.
And I agree with Billings, Butler, Webster & Wood being in the two side.
And haven't heard the saying Ressies for awhile.

Haynes and 15 was floated by Noble on Trade Radio, was also mentioned as a hypothetical in a Herald Sun article, absolutely nothing concrete.

Seems likely that if the Hopper trade falls through, a player will probably be moved on from GWS.

We just need to make sure our guys are sniffing around AFL house until the final seconds of trade week for any opportunities that pop up.

Yeah, agree, I wouldn't mind Whitfield though, &&&&&& Haynes?

Battle agile? Surely you can't be serious. He changes direction about as fast as a oil tanker

Battle is a gun forward in juniors. He is only playing back because the team needs him, would switch back to forward line in a flash.
