Didn’t see him down the bottom thereHe's there, last spot on the interchange in the seniors.
I don't buy into the idea the idea that he doesn't work hard enough or anything like that, he's best 22 for mine.
Know its notTrade period is going so well the thread is turning in to an english lesson.
It's not the club that's moving Battle back to the forward line, it's Big Footy, it's only make believe. This "move Battle forward because we have Cordy" idea has got me *ed. After moving Battle around - wing, forward, back, etc
we finally let him settle into a position at half back this year and he played decent football. If its not broke, don't fix it. Leave him
down back.

Anybody else expecting another couple of days boredom followed by a heap of action on Wednesday?

Totally agree it would be a terrible move. Leave Battle at CHB, Howard at FB, if Cordy can justify a starting position play. him.on the 2nd tall.
I would be moving Wilkie to a half back flank and free him up as an interceptor. Then Coffield and Webster to duel out for the remaining back pocket position.
If we get Haynes then he would take Cordy's spot.
How about making Howard a ruck forward and Haynes FB?
Howard is better on the opposition's best forwards than Haynes currently is.How about making Howard a ruck forward and Haynes FB?
It may knot be but it would be an English lesson.Know its not

Yes, he does have a magnificent vertical leap [emoji1]
Well yeah, horizontal leaps are just running without moving your legs.

Seeing a article that says Clark has request a move to Nrth - if true there is no reason we can't pull one of there picks they get for Horne.Just spitballing here.
Say if we are in gws ear to get Haynes off there books, and the giants can’t find a way to get up to pick 1 meaning they will most likely miss out on cadman, how about we trade pick 9 to them for nick Haynes and pick 3? Assuming the top 3 go like
1-north: Aaron cadman
2-bris: will ashcroft
3-eagles: George wardlaw
We then get to choose out of Mackenzie, sheezel, Jhye Clark (which would be worth it just to piss the cats off) or Tsatas.
If true, I’d value the pick that comes with Haynes higher than Haynes himself.Haynes is the same height as Battle and do we really need another defender who is at the end of his career.
We found a upgrade in having Cordy if Howard gets a injury , and having Battle , Wilkie plus Highmore and Lienert in reserve I think we have enough - however I would look at picking up a kid in the draft to develop.
Battle will only get better every season now he has found a position.
