When they brought it in I thought it was a terrible decision. That’s not football.No offense here, but yeah that comment is usually reserved for those that don't watch much SANFL.
It works extremely well.
As the rule is clear, known, black and white .. teams and supporters adjust for it, there's only a handful of these frees per game... seriously..how many did you see today? 3 or 4?
And no one complains cuz its known.
Still plenty of boundary throw ins.
The AFL issue is the random umpire discretion. This discretion should never ever ever be a rule in sport!!!
Now I think it’s clear and works really well. Especially between the arcs.
