There's trading around and trading up but to get above #10 in this draft is altogether another kettle of fish. The club is on record as wanting to trade up into the top end but unless a miracle happens that appears a forlorn hope. Big difference to trading up into this years top end and shuffling picks later in the 1st round or even the 2nd round.

I will confess to being surprised we managed to pull off a trade for Curtin

Reckon that's a great deal. Moved up to get a guy who could be one of our best players, gave up a F2, but that's worth it to get Curtin I reckon. Move back on our second pick, but they'd do that knowing they can probably still get their target(s).
