I'm taking construction costs to blowout on the new stadium to $1.2 billion @61. Confident.
If I were offered those odds I would put a fair chunk of my life savings on it.

Blowout to $1b should be even money, $1.2b should be 4:1 at best, 61s is way overs.
100% way overs. They already have stadiums, it’s about siphoning off taxpayer money.
Look at GMHBA. Half a billion dollars in government grant money over 20 years and they are constantly tearing down and rebuilding every bit of the stadium except for the bit that is actually ****ed up(the straight wing of “the oval”). The powers that be don’t want to finish it because that would close the door on future grant money to siphon off between their mates. How many times does the completion date get pushed back? If one looks into the companies that get some of these contracts it’s dodgy as all get out and unfair on the locals who get gaslit and in some cases have to live near a constant construction zone.

I have never wielded a shovel or donned a hard hat in my life but I’ll tell you what, if you give me half a billion dollars and 20 years, I will produce an oval shaped venue at the very least.

The takeaway learnings that I take from it all though is how our cities work on a system of government grants and how to apply that to your own financial apparatus in a positive way.

This has been my drunken rant of the week. I don’t go around on the day to day sharing these thoughts with the unenlightened masses and am only sharing it here because this is the greatest board on the internet, with the best posters, and the biggest brains.

Love your work Louie!

So with B365 only offering 4/5+ on a select few players and people being banned/limited, what is the next best book for trains?

The only good thing about B365 was they offered odds on every player taking the field, unlike SB for example who list like half from each team.

2027 Round 1

Tasmanian Devils to win and at the line. :thumbsu:

Assuming Im not broke, banned or dead by then, potentially all three could happen at once too.:$
$100 on the AFL to fixture Tassie a bye like they did to GC in 2011

Great move [emoji849]

Did not want two teams to have a bye in round 1

THEY WERE JOKE ODDS. THEY WEREN'T MEANT TO BE REAL. NOW THE ODDS HAVE BLOWN OUT FROM 61-1 TO 20 BILLION TO ONE. MAYBE YOU SHOULD WRITE AN ESSAY ABOUT IT.

I KNOW BROTHER. IT WAS AN INTERESTING THOUGHT EXPERIMENT AT 2.30 ON A WEDNESDAY MORNING. I WOULD WRITE AN ESSAY ON IT, BUT I WOULD RATHER USE THE INFORMATION FOR MY OWN GAIN RATHER THEN MAKING UNNECESSARY POWERFUL POLITICAL POLITICAL ENEMIES. MANY OF THE NORMIE CONFORMIES ARE NOT READY FOR THIS INFORMATION ANYWAY. WE AS BIG BRAIN DEGENS ARE CAPABLE OF UNDERSTANDING DEGEN POLITICIANS.

The Gocernment is just a tit waiting to be milked these days. Don't even start me on the NDIS.

Less politics, more degen bet ideas pls
I hear you brother and won’t ramble on any further after this post. However, it is an interesting thought experiment into the concept of VALUE, which is highly relevant to our endeavours in the field of sports betting. The ability to see value on one thing is often transferable to another and these stadiums can be analogous to our goal trains.
For instance, is there half a billion dollars worth of stadium down in Geelong? Is GMHBA 100x better then Punt Road oval for 100x the cost?
These degen politicians are selling a half forward flanker for Charlie Curnow odds and KEEPING THE JUICE.

Luke Jackson 15+ @ $2.95 sb - Speculative but Sean Darcy is doubtful and may miss Saturday night. I remember Jackson having a huge game as solo ruck last year against Brisbane when Gawn missed.

The real irony is that I was sitting in the waiting room and watching Tiktok videos when jikost made the post. :$

Dusty 4, 5, 6 @9.5, 26 lads 67 sb

Due. Big odds against a wafl side, half of that everywhere else. Will want to bring Richmond a big win after copping shit in the media this week. Mixed 2 and 3 around in some multis as well
