Yeh, I agree with that. Still feel that we are oddly critical against our own.Little different to what Clarkson did
Horse made Stephen’s the scape goat last week , should have been heeney but then that would look bad
Love this TedI've supported this club, along with many of you, for a long time.
When we never made finals & were basket cases, it hurt but at least players had some sort of knowledge that if they stuffed up, they got dragged &/or dropped. Medievil by today's standards but when our coaches & selectors continue to harm players by playing them in the seniors when out of form, then they need to step aside at year's end.
I have been watching Ross Lyon's Saints.
They have been undermanned from the get go. He has in a matter of weeks set the standard & rewarded those that got the job done by continuing to play them on form. Even when a more senior player becomes available.
In a matter of weeks Ross has built depth & integrity in his list & selection. His players know this. In the past Ross has been guilty of the opposite which brought about his downfall at Freo among other things.
Now we will be forced to play someone like Gould who doesn't have the coaches' trust.but hey, as a supporter I'm more than happy to watch him make mistake after mistake than I am any of those players that played last night that should have stood on the defensive line.
If Horse & co don't pick Gould or Francis because of some flaws, then they have compromised their list & selection integrity, even after the disaster of picking an injured Reid over McDonald in the Grand Final.
It's still early days. I couldn't care less if we win or lose from this point.
When we lost two key defenders it was hard for any of us to see us fight out the game & almost win. We watched Ollie Florent shine & Warner step it up. We saw Rampe's leadership when he once again played tall.
We nearly did it & that was with a lack of players. Something within the group made them step it up so it's there but it needs reward. Hayward has been dropped before & came back better. Sheldrick MUST come in.
Francis can take a freaking mark. We chased & recruited him.
Now is the time to break the glass in case of emergency.
I can deal with his shortcomings because he will continue to learn. Same with Amartey & Logan. Heeney, Hayward & Buddy won't learn anymore.
They know it. They either can't do it anymore or are badly down on form & confidence.

Except ROK, Goodes, Kennedy...............
Still spent time in reserves when he wasn't playing well.Goodes finished in a final and retired
Kennedy got injured and basically decided it for horse
Still spent time in reserves when he wasn't playing well.
Well that helps
Yeah he is a genuine superstar, the difference maker for top 4 or not for the Tiges. Shame he's been in the wars the past two years.Helps us but bad luck for Lynch. Never like to see players injured.
That's a bad injury for a person his size will take quite a while to get back and be comfortable running and beating weight on itHelps us but bad luck for Lynch. Never like to see players injured.

Seems Adam Goodes is trending on twitter.
By all means tell this FW what you think of him and his post.
Well that helps
