It’s a problem when most of the competition’s good players only want to play in Melbourne and Adelaide. There is nothing wrong with Tasmania. Talking about it like it’s some godforsaken hole that no one could possibly want to live in reflects poorly on Sicily, and reveals a level of entitlement that doesn’t sit right with me. Being so pampered and indulged in Melbourne has turned many of these players into divas and prima donnas. I find it distasteful.

It is interesting looking at the current ladder. 4 finalists from last year currently out of the top 8 (with bulldogs only out on percentage).
I think mid table could be tight by the end of the season. Because you still need 3-4 other mid table sides to replace them. And that means having consistency over the back half of the season. Not just making a good start.
