I had a cracked rib in U18s back in the day and they do bloody hurt. Even breathing is a pain in the arse as your chest expands etc. Worse thing i ever went through injury wise.

Blindsided by a typical Parkside coward dog in the FDFL ( before it it became the WRFL as it is now ) with a king hit straight in the ribs when not ready for it from behind.
