I think he can be a tackling machine and big body blocking for someone with class, so ain important component of a midfield unit. He's never going to be elite.

They couldn’t get hold of St Kilda to get the deal going so they called Ian Collins at the AFL.

Interesting comments tbh.

There's more forwards on our list than needed so we're chasing more quality before we cut back a bit.

Sure the best 30 players or so on our list probably contains enough mids and defenders (if Hamling stats) but I'm not comfortable with where midfield depth sits in 2-3 years when Fyfe, JOM etc retire. Wing is an issue too. We should be recruiting one or two mids now to develop. HBFs probably aren't any different but could wait until next year.
