Interesting selection.

Have said I don't see the need for another ruck, so it will be interesting to see how he goes in tandem with Mirkov at VFL level.
Also signals a clear intent to play TDK at senior level alongside Pitto, but I do wonder whether this has one eye on TDK's upcoming contract decision.

Good luck to the young man, keen to see how he develops.

He'll probably leave, but that's no reason to pick up an 18 year old ruck, who didn't get drafted, with still a year left on TDK's contract.

If this was the MSD and we picked up a mature ruck with potentially prior AFL experience then that's a different story.

I’d take the early draft picks no problem.

Then take one of BMckay or Himmelberg.

Combination of Philp joining the inactive list (as a few suspected the moment he had the injury) plus maybe seeing TDK leave gave the club the idea to grab Hudson as a free hit for the year to see how he develops.

Cincotta can still come in

When did philp get on the LTI list?

Today most likely.

It’s on the Clubs website.

The Club has also placed Sam Philp on the inactive list, leaving one list spot available which can be filled before the SSP deadline next Wednesday or at the mid-season draft

I’m pretty confident of TDK staying. Will lock down the #1 ruck mantle with us by the end of the year.

Get a taste of finals footy with the blues, and be fully invested moving forward

WTF??? I officially now have no idea what the SSP rules are regarding long term injury replacements... must be a pretty serious fracture to keep him out the entire season...
Could be 1/2 way through the year and then replaced with another LTI (Inactive) player if I’m not mistaken. Though was of the understanding Inactive was out for the season.

If we are looking for an AFL ready player with some runs on the board, Jackson Nelson. 26 year old 100 gamer.

Uninspiring but could play a role if required. I wonder if he has kept fit.

Do not rate at all.

He’s back with WCE’s WAFL team this season. Thought he was contemplating moving back east (AFL option that fell through perhaps) but stayed west.
Eagles are usually pretty good at looking after their players off-field.

He was an okay role player in some good WCE teams. He looked poor last season when they weren’t going so well.

I don’t think we will go down that path but there’s not a lot left if they want some AFL experience.

Think it's a reasonable mix

2 straight out rucks in Pitto and Mirkov

2 ruck/forwards in O'Keeffe and TDK

O'Keeffe is super competitive
What’s your observation about O’Keefe’s marking in general Arrow, the description by central was it needed a fair bit of work, averaged less than 1 per game apparently…
