I think some are predicting teams making QB moves. like the Raiders would surely take Stroud if he falls to them. unless Brady is there. but even if they get a vet QB i would take Stroud and have him sit for a year or 2 and learn.

I think if Stroud was there at the Falcons pick and they weren't interested they'd trade the pick to someone like the Titans or Washington just to make sure the Panthers didnt get Stroud just incase he works out.

It's pretty hard to find any quality WRs outside of the top 40, especially ones that produce early.

Top 40 picks this past year included London, Garrett Wilson, Olave, Jameson Williams, Dotson, Treylon Burks, and Christian Watson.

The only notable picks after were Wan'Dale Robinson, George Pickens, Alec Pierce, and Romeo Doubs out of 21 WRs drafted outside of the top 40.

More of the same in 2021. The only notable WR out of the top 50 was Amon-Ra. Everyone else is either buried on the depth chart or washed out.

Go back another year to 2020. After the top 40, it was Hamler, Claypool, Van Jefferson, Gabe Davis, and Mooney, not to mention most of these are notable but inconsistently productive.

2019 is probably the exception. Incredibly deep WR class of Hollywood, Deebo, AJ Brown, Hardman, Metcalf, Diontae Johnson, Terry McLaurin, and Hunter Renfrow. Even then, outside of Renfrow, McLaurin was the last notable WR picked at 76, and that's considering a bunch of teams whiffed on the likes of N'Keal Harry, JJAW, Andy Isabella, and Jalen Hurd.

With the game trending the way it has, teams need quality WRs more than ever before. Saying they'll spend Day 2 picks if they actually need WR help is like some really stupid mind game hoping other teams will let WRs fall to them on Day 1.

Despite DJ, Ridley, or other talents at WR, the Rams, Niners, Chiefs, and even the Bills have shown that top WR talent isn’t a huge necessity to running highly effective offenses. The Andy Reid offense of plug-and-play options has proven that the new NFL way of play -calling, and the younger coaches’ offensive minds are capitalizing without a lot of early first round draft talent.

The need for big sideline wideouts like DK and Megatron will always be there, but the WR market is gonna get even more crowded.

Offensive weapons in the earlier to mid-rounds will be the focus with offensive staffs that can find value.

Quentin Johnston has had a fall from grace since the national championship game if he doesnt go 1st round.

I'd be very surprised if hes still there in the 2nd round.

Now way QBs fall their will be 3 QBs in top 5 picks (bears will trade down) with Richardson getting drafting in top 15 picks.

2 WR in top 20 with Quintin and Addison being the picks. Think Texans at 12 will go WR need to give their new QB weapons.

GG.exe posting tweets that are deleted everywhere
They were live then they got deleted, the content in the tweet obviously meant the source said to the tweeter to delete, thats off the record.

One was that Wallet and Renfrow ARE up for trade.

The other was about Stetson Bennett draft stock 5th round grade

If the Colts want Levis as reported there is no need to trade up to 1, just wait for a trade on the night and move up to 3 with Arizona if youre getting antsy.
Unless the Colts are just trying to make it harder for their div rivals....make them give up more?

Good point, probably just trying to fake them out into over spending.
