Personally, I think we've got enough top-tier young talent.

We should hold on to our first pick, but use the Port pick + any priority pick/s as trade bait to try and bring in quality guys at that 24-26 year old/100 games~ played mark who can really contribute as best 22 players from day 1 next season.

I don't have any specific targets in mind, but in general my role priority list would be;

1. Medium defender
2. Rebounding/run-and-carry half-back-flanker
3. Small forward
4. Ruck (pending Goldstein contract)

Totally with you... re need the quality 24-26 now. Similar to Lions when they brought in CC, Lyons, Neale, McCarthy post drafting raynor, Bailey, mcclug, sarcy and then added Daniher later. Crows did last with Dawson and Rankine...

I agree to keep our first but would there be an option to move back slightly and get another pick in. Def need Watson but he would still be there 4-5?

That would cover the small fwd, potentially need another. I like berg, ash Clark as the running or med def.... and I'm still thinking we need another fwd...

Free agency was all for doedee before knee, redman, Jordan and I'd love Himmel

i could accept keeping tucker for another year and reckon greenwood may have a bit to offer still, but hard to disagree with the rest.

Was SA U16 captain and only slid in the draft cause of a knee recon. He was playing SANFL reserves at 16! OOC end of this year I think.

As for the Team can only see McDonald not in it and Xerri not in and Greenwood.
Personally I’d keep both 1st picks and try an add maybe a Free Agent or 2 and walk someone to the PSD.
As for delisted players who in many ways that won’t get picked up by another AFL club via any draft or Rookied try and convince them to stay in the VFL program which we haven’t been able to hold on to so far since the VFL re started at North.

Insane is one word to describe trading pick 2 and 3 for pick 1 and Barass (not worth a top 5 pick imo).
Trading for old GWS players who won't be in our window is also insane. Salary dump only part that makes any sense for Whitfield perhaps and 1st rounder.

Fair enough. I rate Barrass. Effectively you are swapping bmac for him and getting the rights to Reid. I am curious as to how you plan on having a squad of good players all the same age competing in our “window”.
