hard to disagree on the face of it, but if he's still got 2 years left, there'd have to be something on top. The pattern seems to be that players move for contract length as much as annual wage

You don't need to blast a player out of a Club with an offer like that if he's not comfortably in their best team.

How about 2 years or 3 at a stretch?

They'll want out regardless.

Can't believe some of the names being thrown up on this thread. Haven't we been through enough?

With the possible exception of Logue, there's not one recycled player on our list currently who is better than a C grader.
