I would do it if I had a promising basketball career and a us college offer

Rucks don’t play for years anyway
He should have gone to College, enjoyed the experience and then he would have been Cat B eligible and could pick his club.
Stupid decision in my book.
I wonder if his previous knee injury scared him a bit?

Absolute class that boy.

Funny seeing him have bounces when apparently he can’t run ha ha
Did you see Langford highlights against North the other day ?

Powerful in the contest , good on the spread and lethal and penetrating by foot

Might be the best pure mid of last years draft class

What a debut round 1 for the draft class with Draper to come today who looks well and truly ready to roll

Murphy Reid sensational , once again myself and others guilty of overrating speed and underrating pure football talent

Happens every year then we forget again

Let's hope he's in the 22 and gets a chance to show it from the get go.

I think he will be sub , coming off injuries and growth related stress reactions still present in his spine , it’s not the worst thing

Long career and long year ahead

Hope he gets 40 mins , he will be a weapon when others are tired . Need to activate him to make it an advantage

I absolutely hate that he’ll be sub from a sentimental perspective, but he’ll be valuable in that role from a tactical perspective. Needs to be brought on after half time, at the latest (like the Bris game)

Would love him to play 40 mins this week into starting role on mcg in round 2 on the big deck

No need to blow his body up given the recent injury history

He’s such a power runner , the mcg is going to suit

How good is the 2024 draft looking, Sid Draper, Sam Lalor, Isaac Kako, Murphy Reid, Levi Ashcroft, Finn O'Sullivan, Xavier Lindsay, Luke Trainor, Lucas Camporeale all with excellent debuts already. :fire: Shaping like a draft for the ages IMOP.

Don't think it will be long before Harvey Langford and Joe Berry get amongst it either.

How’d north’s 1st pick go? And didn’t the tigers have a few more first rounders?
Only lalor & trainer seemed to be talked about.

FO'S was good missed him for the Roos, For the Tigers Trainor was excellent, Armstrong showed a bit considering as a KPF he got thrown in the deep end, the others drafted had injury's to rehab in Faull (back), Hotton (ACL) Smillie (hamstring) except for Sims Forward/Ruck who will likely take time.

I've been saying the same thing all weekend. Stacked with quality well beyond the top echelon of picks
