I'm flying to Athens with Qatar via Doha in a couple of weeks......
If it's any excuse, I won the flights at a Swans game!

Rather be sponsored by Qatar than Qantas.
Absolute s**t stain of a corporate entity.
Where do people draw the line, cancel the maccas sponsorship due to obesity?
People go bankrupt buying property, cancel real estate and banking sponsors ?
More gambling sponsorshipAll the gambling outrage nobody forces them to put coins or notes down the chute sans also nobody forcing a Bigmac down your throat everyday.
Its okay to promote a form of entertainment its a choice.

Wow.. so you're more against a few folk in a rich nation having a bet on the horses than a government totally f**king over millions of women and girls?I don't like our Qatar sponsorship either but I think the degrees of separation make them a little different.
Why, we once had a gambling company and a casino as some of our corporate partners.
it is very hard to find an ethical corporate partner. But I suppose it is a matter of degree given we happily live in the dying days of western capitalism.
Personally I despise insurance and mining companies as the bottom feeders of capitalism. As for the fraudulent bitcoin industry ???
Do we still have that mid eastern airline as a sponsor?
Do we still have that bitcoin xchange as a sponsor?
My career in two lines.

I guess its fine if you dont know those women or girls.. ???FFS???
true story..Do we still have that car company that was founded by Hitler as a sponsor?
I would put you on ignore but I cant. You are also a very prevalent poster making you impossible to ignore.Asking politely for you to please never again reply to any of my posts and I will do the same with you.
I thought the 3rd might be Bex (& a good lie down).lol I had a third… but I am not aware old days Colombia sponsored footy teams

My response to your latest post was very reasonable, even needed to be said.
We are extremely privileged in this country as my young cousin keeps pointing out to me. She's a 30yo female journo working in Pakistan and Afganistan. If she was to read your post Im sure she would be much more critical than I was.
Off topic.. apologiesTwo of the most dangerous countries on Earth for a foreign Female.

(Those under the age of 50 will likely have no clue what this refers to).
I have travelled to many Muslim countries as well as India and a few other hot spots. Pakistan and India are where women are treated with the least respect. We've all seen the news about Afghanistan. I wish your cousin the very best of luck! Two of the most dangerous countries on Earth for a foreign Female.

EXTREMELY dangerous for a female journo!
My 78yo Mum just went and visited for 4 weeks.
- people are extremely poor
- sick of eating apricots
- wish she knew more about cricket
- people are very proud, generous and enthusiastic (especially about cricket)
- Was invited into many strangers homes for lunch and dinners (very generous and sharing). Thought it was weird that she would eat with the men and boys while the women weren't allowed to sit at the table.
- Was very disturbed by girls not being allowed an education
- mountains and landscape were absolutely beautiful
- not once did she feel threatened
- Very hard to judge such a foreign (different) culture
Thats Mums pakistan border experience in a nut shell.
Good to hear. Wife and I lived in Malaysia for 2 years. Piece of cake. In all we've travelled to 8 Muslim countries (including Iran) and leave for 6 more in April. Love it personally and happy to visit more but the attitudes of Pakistani men were pretty dodgy. She's been there for nearly three years and loves it.. I struggle dealing with Collingwood supporters.
different strokes for different folks i guess????

Mum said she was stopped and searched (for opium) lots of times.. As soon as the police / army found out she was Australian and NOT American, the searched stopped and the conversation turned to cricket haha..Two very close friends did two medium term stints in Pakistan. The woman ran some UN women’s programs. They did have an exit strategy. The Americans actually scared them more and they have citizenship. They made some great friends there and have gone back on hols to see them. To my chagrin I never visited.

Right up north. NE I think Never went further north than Penang. Lived in KL 2005/6.have totally forgotten the part of Malaysia concerned but there is one pocket where the local culture was matriarchal.
