He was incredibly rusty when he came straight into seniors earlier this season.

Absolutely he should, he's not that good to just stroll back in. Problem is you roll the dice with how available he is. The more games he plays the closer he is to breaking down again. Maybe, like Jack Martin, the MC just want to extract game time out of him and they would rather have that as game time in the firsts.
