2024 Rolling ALL-Australian Team

Not saying it will happen as 3 midfielders in the one side making it into the AA team is pretty rare but how likely is it at this stage that Heeney, Warner and Gulden can all make the AA team?

Blakey is definitely in contention too, but he is a defender.

Warner - was that the best performance of the year by a midfielder this year? Bloody hell. The definition of a jet
  1. a stream of a liquid, gas, or small solid particles forcefully shooting forth from a nozzle, orifice, etc.
  2. something that issues in such a stream, as water or gas.
  3. a spout or nozzle for emitting liquid or gas:
    a gas jet.
  4. jet plane.
  5. jet engine.
Not quite, but absolutely the definition of an outstanding footballer.

If Sydney are 18-5 or better it is almost guaranteed, as Blakey is the only non-midfielder that will make the 22.

Gulden will be on the wing. Heeney I hope they don't put on a forward flank but you just know it's a chance; he should be the centreman. Warner will be rover or on the bench.

The only way all 3 Swans mids make it is Gulden wing, Heeney flank and Warner bench. Justified by saying how well Heeney is as a forward so they can fit in more mids.

Personally, Blakey on the HBF and Heeney as the centre are the only Seans locks for me with Gulden, Warner and Florrent as a smokey in the squad. Gulden hasn't been as damaging as a wing, imo this year but has a very good statline. Warner would need to keep up current form from the past 2-3 games through for a few more weeks before making a case to be in the side. Florrent I think has been an underrated user from half back, particularly in ground ball intercepts but probably doesn't make more than the token 40-44th person in the squad

10. Kyle Langford 28 (25/3)/Harry McKay (24/))/Toby Greene (14/14)

Purely out of interest, what is Bobby Hill on?

I think Stengle becomes the favourite for the position now, which hurts Adelaide even more.
I had Rankine as the favourite if they go with that position instead of just another mid but had the next group of 3 fairly close.

You're probably right Stengle right now might be leading that pack with how much he has hit the scoreboard the past month. He does trail the other 2 Miers and Moore slightly in most other areas you probably look at. Miers always an interesting case only the 10 goals but builds a strong case across Score Involvements, Pressure acts, Disposals and Efficiency, coaches votes and the rest.

Stengle needs to get to number 1 before any will consider him for their rolling AA sides.

Waterman AA conversion is not something i would have ever envisioned. Bloke isn’t just kicking goals but as undersized key forward playing like a bloke 10cm taller and 10kgs heavier.

I feel like this year is about the unheralded, Ben McKay should firmly be in the conversation for a key defensive post. Wont because he aint sexy enough but his stats show up as good as any. Ditto your man Waterman. Absolutely demolishing opponents at the moment

B: Nick Blakey - Ben McKay - Nick Vlaustin
HB: Max Holmes - Harris Andrews - Jordan Clark
C: Errol Gulden - Caleb Serong - Zach Merrett
HF: Christian Petracca - Jesse Hogan - Gryan Miers
F: Jake Waterman - Charlie Curnow - Tyson Stengle
R: Max Gawn - Isaac Heeney - Nick Daicos

Int: Dayne Zorko - Zak Butters - Chad Warner - Noah Anderson

Least confident with the defence.

Aaron Naughton is a week or two off being in the team. The #1 rated KPF in the comp this year

Yeah nah TK has been quite underwhelming. Has had good game and some games he’s been missing. Also some of his high possession games he’s been be really bad with ball in hand. Yeo comfortably above him and I’d say Gov and Barrass too.

I would've said Yeo before his injury but if he can come back shortly ad replicate similar form than it's obviously a no brainer.
