Even I who like to short change other clubs can see both NWM and St Kilda wanting a lot

Not moving for less than 1.2?He's not moving for less than $1.2m or so. That will make him our highest paid player.
St Kilda aren't just giving him away, and he's not a free agent. Two first rounds seems realistic.
If we're going to talk about this, we might as well make sure we're being genuine about it.

Wingmen inevitably spend a large part of the game on the opposite side of the ground from where the play is - I'd want NWM having the ball in his hand as often as possible.
Look, I never said he wasn't a fantastic player. Has any club ever made a wingman their highest paid player though?
But don't twist what I'm saying into being anti NWM.
Our first round picks for 2025 and 2026 plus $1.2m a year would be the price though. It's a big investment.
And with how the game is won these days, I’d say our greatest need is an AA-level attacking half back. Can never have too many elite ball users..
That's just it though, NWM's skillset can be utilised in all 3 areas of the ground, my preference would be outside mid/wingman.And with how the game is won these days, I’d say our greatest need is an AA-level attacking half back.
Do they ever really recover? It can take over a year to recover from Drafted to North Melbourne Depression
Is he on a standard two year rookie deal? The rise of Taylor Goad in a year from his base is leaving a few gobsmacked .
He is the talk after this mornings match sim at Nth Melbourne.
3 years 1st round pick.Is he on a standard two year rookie deal?

Given we wanted him in his draft year, I'd be surprised if we aren't into his ear.Hands off.
I'd be offering a $500k x 5 year deal to his agent this morning.
Having watched him in this mornings game (and preseason) get all over Xerri as a 19 year old, win clearances off of him, his size and athletecism is pretty much unmatched (he's 3" taller than Luke Jackson and probably even more athletic, he's certainly quicker)
He sits right next to McKercher and LDU as a priority signing for me now.
I've never seen this rate of improvement in a player over 6 months ever, not even close.
Not moving for less than 1.2?
What a ridiculous assumption.
StKilda wouldn't be offering him anything near that.
Must have made a hell of an impact this morning, heard he went well against Finbar last sim but actually beat X well today .Hands off.

An amazing list??Must have made a hell of an impact this morning, heard he went well against Finbar last sim but actually beat X well today .
You have an amazing list but can’t keep them all, cheers.![]()

We'd have to be into him, we only ever have Ranga's as rucksGiven we wanted him in his draft year, I'd be surprised if we aren't into his ear.
At their position of a rebuild absolutely, but understand deeper thinking is not your strong point. An amazing list??
Settle down
I'll believe it when I see it. We are also talking about a 22 year old, not a 26 year old free agent.LOL - they're offering a midtier ruckman $1.7m. LDU has the same on the table from North. Any top shelf player who changes clubs or gets re-signed longterm will be $1m+.
They've been rebuilding as long if not longer than us, and they're still worse than we are. All with a bloke who's meant to be the GOAT of coaching. At their position of a rebuild absolutely, but understand deeper thinking is not your strong point.
And the bold is now irrelevant but you can’t see past that ! They are coming from a position and considering projected finishes and future draft picks pre Tassie are extremely well placed, with a proven coach. They've been rebuilding as long if not longer than us, and they're still worse than we are. They've got a great midfield.... on paper. That's it.
You aren't capable of deeper thought.
Even you don't believe what you just wrote. And the bold is now irrelevant but you can’t see past that ! They are coming from a position and considering projected finishes and future draft picks pre Tassie are extremely well placed, with a proven coach.
Anyways until your “prospect” stretch with the Cartel is over and you earn your colours and are worthy, carry on trolling
NWM isn't fetching $1.2M pa.He's not moving for less than $1.2m or so. That will make him our highest paid player.

Again - if you want to steal a top tier player away from a club, it's going to take $1m+.NWM isn't fetching $1.2M pa.
Sure he will get good money, but that is ridiculous.
If there was any semblance of truth, Saints can keep him.
