IMO Konstanty is a raffle ticket and we shouldn't take him as a sweetener. By all means pick him up for a run if delisted though.

So what annoys me most out of this is that Brady on one had says he can see some really good options for us if we split our first round pick yet on the other hand it sounds like we're sitting back waiting for other clubs to present our options to us rather than going out there chasing them.

What's the story with Konstanty?

Pick 20 two years ago, goes to a club with a well regarded culture and development program.

And to be top it off - plays a fashionable in demand role as a defensive small forward.

Yet is seemingly going to be delisted and free to all after no trade interest.

Smells like something is up with him hey, like clubs all know something and ah like yeah nah.

We'd be stupid to do anything splitting until we know what picks the Tigers end up with.
GC won't move pick 6 because they want Rioli, that's going to the Tigers. Pick 9 or Freo 10/11 is too far back to split 2.
We could take pick 9 from Bombers on draft night if we really wanted to. We might even get better offers on draft night.
Wait and see what Tigers picks are after Bolton/Baker/Rioli trades and do something with them if anything. If not hold.

Out of all the trades out there, that would have been the most logical. But I think we all know by now this period isn’t about anything other than chest beating and oneupmanship.

That’s the strange move. I can’t see the eagles being happy to deal even for 2x F1’s.

Barass would have put them in the premiership picture imo. May have shot themselves in the foot.

Yeah, I think that a bunch off first and second round picks will change hands over coming days. Plenty of time for splitting 2 even if we want to get it done during this period. Who knows where they will all sit on Tuesday.

Yep. Can trade before or during the draft so plenty of time. We might get a better idea of what other teams are looking at from a players point of view on the night and whether those picks we trade for will actually get the players we want.
