I think that trade everybody walks away comfortable and achieving what they want, or are at least set up to get what they want.Only sensible trade scenario I’ve seen on either Richmond or North boards. Both sides desperately trying to win here. Personally I’m hoping nothing gets done.
I would reluctantly accept this offer of 6 and 10 for 2 along the hand that I bit off when the offer was made.
Yeah I don't agree. I think we will be trying to trade our F1 for a top 10 pick, but can't see who would really do it, maybe Melbourne and Saints, but they need players this year. I think it's a reasonable deal with a little bit of risk on both sides, but it's pretty minimal to get what you want. That's potentially trading 1+2 for 6, 10, 18.
Return doesn't match the risk.
Both teams would be better off abstaining. Fwiw I'd want 6, 10, 11, 23 minimum and they'd say no.
If we were hellbent on trading out the F1 it would be better doing it in a separate transaction to #2 imo. Stops it's value being diluted.Yeah I don't agree. I don't think winning is paramount, not getting shafted is important though.
The least I would accept for our F1 would be GWS pick 15 and 16 this year.
l would take #15 and #16 for our F1st and then Give the Tiggers Pick #2 for #6 and #10/#11 so we end up with eitherThe least I would accept for our F1 would be GWS pick 15 and 16 this year.
Yeah I get that, but we want to move the needle now I reckon......we won't be getting offers under pick 4, or even pick 8-10, for our F1 on it's own, I don't think. I think it values our F1 around the 10 mark, and there has to be a certain amount of risk applied to both sides. But we are getting shafted. Massively so!
You're giving up pick 2 and pick 1 - 4 next year for 6, 10 and 18! That is ridiculous.
Don't mind this KK, particularly if we already had 15 and 16 before dealing with anybody for 2....as in "We already have 15 and 16, why the hell would we want 6 and 18!" sorta vibesl would take #15 and #16 for our F1st and then Give the Tiggers Pick #2 for #6 and #10/#11 so we end up with either
#6, #10, #15 and #16
or
#6, #11, #15 and #16
That would be so good, get 4 quality youngsters in one more time by bringing next years draft into this one essentially. The youngsters start day 1 under Parker, Darling and Daniel on track. My favourite part of this is the media will then complain we have 4 first rounders after pulling Richmond off for the last month regarding their 15 first round picks.l would take #15 and #16 for our F1st and then Give the Tiggers Pick #2 for #6 and #10/#11 so we end up with either
#6, #10, #15 and #16
or
#6, #11, #15 and #16
I'd still do that. One of Taura/Armstrong, maybe both and if not someone else worthwhile.I think it will be 2 for 6/11
I think the term you are looking for is "fax".Yeah our first pick rounder could be 12 or 14 so let's hope Richmond takes our call or mms
Do we need a fat coke dealer at the club? The problem with that is neither CJ or Teakle can ruck. We would be better off ditching both and getting a proper ruck, like Crossley, as a back-up.
Picks 6+10 in this draft for pick 2, couldn't say yes fast enough

No current season stats available
Jack Carroll surprisingly delisted
And our boy Sam durdin
I'm amazed how many on here would do this. Were they not alive during the Scott years? Not having premium draft picks and instead settling for picks in the teens is what got us into this mess in the beginning. The least I would accept for our F1 would be GWS pick 15 and 16 this year.

Yeah I'm onboard....let's see if we can make it happen. I think it's gunna be tricky, but if we had the 15 and 16 it makes keeping 2 a lot more possible as well, which I don't mind either. I'd take FOS if Lalor gone myselfNo need to throw the kitchen sink out.
Like I've already mentioned, something like 15 and 16 is far better from GWS.
Then turn 2 into 6 and 11
Then we have 4 picks. 6, 11, 15, 16. That allows us to cover all of our needs in this draft. 2 x Key Forwards, 1 x Small Forward and a midfielder or defender.
I'd forgotten about that. The coke bit that is, I knew he was fat. But he had a great year in VFL with the new ruck rules.Do we need a fat coke dealer at the club?
