It's getting closer..
Would rather that it be McDonald than Fisher..If the case, Houston is off the table. Fisher plays 2s on decent miney next year.

There would be sources close to Port who believe he is very likely to stay with them.Am hearing from a source close to the club that Houston is very likely to be at North next year.

Oliver will be a salary dump. It’s really hard to put a value on what Oliver is valued at. In saying that it’s difficult to see how a deal for Oliver and Smith gets done without giving up something of value.
SDK or maybe O’sullivan or Neale get put up.
You'd think Smith would be pick 15 and Dogs would probably want even more.I’ll wait for anyone other than Sam McClure before I believe this.
Even rootedsteve
Probably the case though.
What’s he worth?
How are Geelong gonna get smith and Oliver in? Completely ****ed if they do, though I don’t rate nose beers smith as highly as most.
Source works on the commercial side with North. Knows someone I work with. There would be sources close to Port who believe he is very likely to stay with them.
If they go through with pushing him out I can see the Dees asking for SDK involved with whatever they get.Surely they have to lose SDK to get some trade capital
And if so go and get

I’m the opposite, I’m sick of losing and would do a deal with the devil himself to change our fortunes. It’s a shame that all the off field shit that clarry carries turns me off from wanting to get him.
If he didn’t have all of that extra baggage, I’d be all in.
Sounds like a big personality nuclear fission experiment. You watch Geelong somehow have enough coin or cap space to fit Martin in on peanuts, Smith on good coin, and pay Oliver's entire contract and get Melbourne to drop the #5 pick off with it.
Por que no los dos.Would rather that it be McDonald than Fisher..
Oliver will be a salary dump.
Will cost bugger all
I wonder why his best mate Jy wasn’t in his earI’m the opposite, I’m sick of losing and would do a deal with the devil himself to change our fortunes.
(he well could have been)They mightn’t win the flag, but they will be thereabouts again, stadium full and rocking every second week, they’ve got nothin to lose. Have a crack at another flag, safe as houses that joint. It’s annoying.Sounds like a big personality nuclear fission experiment.
How I would laugh if it blew up in their faces.
He's on 1.3m per year until 2030 when he will be 33 from memory. You can't smooth it out and contact him to 35.If they do that none of their senior leadership will survive.
Except Christian Petracca, who will be quite pleasedIf they do that none of their senior leadership will survive.
Apparently the retirement of Hawkins, who was selflessly on 45k for the last 5 years to help keep the group together, has now freed up 1.2 million in their salary cap.You watch Geelong somehow have enough coin or cap space to fit Martin in on peanuts, Smith on good coin, and pay Oliver's entire contract and get Melbourne to drop the #5 pick off with it.
Cats don’t have to pay him the same though do they? Once he changes clubs the contract can be whatever he’s happy with. He's on 1.3m per year until 2030 when he will be 33 from memory. You can't smooth it out and contact him to 35.
The deal is the worst ever in afl history.
Oh and he gets pay rises with ever salary cap rise.
Very true but the cats won't let the dee's know that.Cats don’t have to pay him the same though do they? Once he changes clubs the contract can be whatever he’s happy with.
ie …..Here’s 800K/year for the next 7 years and 20,000 hectares that we will sell you for bugger all.
