He clearly left some stones unturned last two preseasons. I'll be stoked if he comes back in shape and can contribute something to the team, he needs elite cardio with his limitations. Words are cheap, we'll know early preseason how this turns out.

Agree that delisting Maley would be odd unless there's a fundamental issue in his game we're unaware of.

I feel for Charlie and wouldn't be upset to see him get another year.

Sellers is a damn pity. Not sure we set him up for success.

Drury seems too entrenched in the Clarko/Wardlaw/Sheez love affair to be dumped IMO, will get another year. And then I agree with the fine My Left Foote above that Maley is the most likely to get a contract.

Yep I think our out of contract guys will all be delisted. Maley seems unlucky but that's professional sport for you.
Biggie and sleevo likely to be paid out also.
I doubt ccj is. Would be a bit rough after injury.

Yeah that's possible too. Would've thought it unlikely given his progress, the fact he was recruited as a project player, and how we've got bugger all other KPFs.

But I guess if we're looking to trade pick 2, it makes sense that we're doing it to draft one or two top shelf KPFs. And if get Membrey and/or Day, or trade Darling in for a fourth rounder, that might cover us for the next couple years as well, and then maybe we give up on the project.

I've liked his VFL form.
But he's been recruited as a mature ager who's not ready to play.
His VFL form needs to be compared to other guys his age. Not 18 year Olds.
I'd be happy to keep him but it would not surprise me if he's gone

l'm thinking we we go all out and get as many as we can if the price is right..Time to put pressure on those who have had it to easy for the last few years...Parker and Darling is a start and keep Finnbar also..

You are too nice. None of Drury, Biggie or CCJ are going to make it. If we keep them, we will only be cutting them next year. With the draft so deep this year, there will be potentially good players getting through to the fourth round. That might not be the case next year.
