I guess its someone he rates as an undereager that feels would fit in the way we play. As a 16/17 year old looks like he did pretty well. And not a low possesion player either, some of his games..

He's a good bloke, helped me through a tough time last year; and knows his draft stuff, and I don't mind being pointed toward good prospects.

I wasn't saying anything about him personally. I don't know him other than him being a Carlton supporter () who chats online to Luke before Blues games.

I just found the link being made to a 16-17 year old to the Pies was totally random. The initial poster inferred Pies were targeting this kid as a replacement for McStay, based on what this Pommy bloke said. Lol.

He very clearly says "looking ahead to 2024", so I assume he's just putting him up as a player to watch for next year that would be the type Collingwood could be interested in.

He has a growing following and has actually been on SEN a few times. I love him. He really knows his everything about every club. His breadth of knowledge and understanding of the game is phenomenal.

From what I saw of him in VFL he is a very good footballer

Might point towards Teakle almost being a lock at this stage (and using likes of Frampton Begg Steene and even Cox in non ruck roles on occasions)

Appreciate that you guys are not in a development phase, as such, but you have to just bank Eyre's talent.

Our list managent doesn't know its arse from its elbow so we recruit Eyre as 1 of 4 key/tall defenders in the 2020 draft (2 of whom were top 10 picks). We then give a perennially injured Stewart a 2 year deal near the end of 2022, in addition to recruiting Baldwin, and he gets squeezed off the list. There were other dumb decisions I won't bore you with.

Point is, Eyre was not delisted because he doesn't have more potential ability than anyone we recruited in 2020, there were bad management decisions and significant covid interruptions which were big factors.

No denying he was poor in the VFL until he was switched to defence about half way through 2022. His marking immediately improved (though that wouldn't have been hard).

He's a sublime athlete, in the 2.8s for the sprint, big leap, 6 20ish 2km time trial. He has a cannon for a left boot. He was certainly growing into his body as a 198cm 20 year old, with the square frame that can carry weight unlike the players we havent delisted (but it will take time to add).

He has raw football ability as opposed to just raw athletic ability. He missed a lot of development footy which meant it would always be a slower burn as tactical understanding was not great.

The system is insane if he is not given time to come good...and no I'm not related to him and don't know him.

I listen to sen all the time, can't say I've heard him on there once.

He's lost me from the moment I knew he supported Carlton.

I hate Carlton fans just as much as any other Pies fan but I actually don’t mind him. As for the other Carlton fans he goes on that other channel with, not so much.

I like him. He can run, really athletic. Had a really impressive season in the vfl this year. Prior to his hammy, played 9 games and clearly the club saw some promising signs.
Can move and has good hands, if you look at the last 10 seconds of the first video


Big boys do take time, and even more so when you factor in the covid years where they would not have played much or any footy.. especially not in their draft year of 2020 and then I think even the VFL was limited in 2021. I feel sometimes clubs dont give talls enough time to develop.

Looks like begg up forward in the first video. Has he trained there much or look ok??

I think if that Jasper keeps going the way he has I think it will take a high 1st rd pick to secure him. He is only 6 weeks past his 17th birthday, I wish Pommyinoz was correct and he lobs at the Pies. I cannot see lt myself it will take more currency than we have.

I quite like Pommyinoz it is just his choice of club that stinks.

You should have a look at that boy he was talking about I think I am the initial poster you are referring too and as I explained to you I left out the word not as in no use to us this off season.

I will say 1 thing if we are lucky enough to draft that boy then I will be amazed because he is tracking as a high 1st rounder or even top ten,I have looked at this boy and he kicked 5 against boys then played seniors and kicked 6 against men and he was only 16 himself.

Just from watching him I agree with everything Pommyinoz says about him but unless we can trade up in a big way we are no chance of getting him and you can take that to the bank.

I must say apart from being a Carlton fan I am quite in favour of Pommyinoz, maybe it may pay you to actually listen to what he has to say because he is often on the money Carlton fan or not.
