Maybe yes, maybe no. Leigh Matthews seemed to go okay without a lengthy apprenticeship under an established coach.

Having Fin and Reef taking the next is so vital to our future. We can keep topping up with players from other clubs and SSP and not have to worry about our drafts as much when tassie come in. Along with Allan, TJ and Harry the future looks pretty bright.

I think there will be a concerted effort to pump Reef's tyres. He just looked so nervous in his senior games last year. Needs a confidence hit.
