Bit rich coming from an Xbox…

I've said this probably 100 times previously on these forums, but as evidenced by the details displayed under my username, I registered my username on March 15, 2001. This was well before the release of Bill Gates' X Box.

I'm still convinced after all these years that Bill and his team at Microsoft admired my work so much that they named their gaming console after me.

You even got in before it was announced later in 2001. What did you know and when did you know it?

I still think his clearest path to the AFL team is as a KPD post Liam Jones (probably Croft’s 3rd-4th year on the list) but if English left I’d very quickly develop him into that 3rd tall forward / backup ruck position given his movement and intensity at ground level.

I think Darcy's got that spot sewn up.
Croft's kicking for goal was bad last year and I'm not sure he's going to ever going to be that reliable based on the small sample size of this year.
He's 200cm, covers the ground incredibly well for a kid let alone a tall kid, and is good in the air. Gun CHB in the making for me.

I'd play him ahead of Harmes or Daniel at this point. I'm worried WCE will come knocking because right now he's looking like our Libba succession plan

I agree Darcy has it locked up unless English leaves. If English leaves then still need Lobb or another stop-gap for a couple of years but Darcy/Croft would work as the longer term combination.

And when he fills out like his old man ( who was an absolute tank ), would be the immovable object at CHB. Agree with Mofra, Darcy just has a few more tricks in the kit bag right now for the Ruck/Resting Forward position.

I like JOD / Buss / Croft as a developing group of KPD but not sure which one of them could develop to taking the #1 forward.

JOD's ready now, Buss will be a slow-burn IMO and Croft has pace & tank on his side so I dare say Croft plays a little higher in the D50, HB area.
This year if Jones goes down, Keath probably gets that spot. Next year we might be in trouble.

I was 15 at the time and I had MTV on in the background when I was signing up.

I couldn't think of a username until I heard Bill Gates on an MTV interview mention they're working on a gaming console called the X Box.

And that is the story behind how my name came to be.

BigFooty was a very small community in the early days (compared to now anyway) so everyone knew each other. The amount of commentary about my username at the time when the X Box was released was extraordinary.

Reckon Buku has earned himself at least another 2-3 weeks regardless of how he plays to be honest. Good to see Buss playing well though.

VFL players are really solid. CCP is great, Spicer as well (although I have concerns about the jump if he gets picked up mid season).
Main concerns for me are Dom, McNeil, & Arty.
A few players are good for break glass scenarios such as Keath & Gardner.
Daniel will find his way, the way VFL is played isn’t necessarily ideal for him, he’ll be fine.
Think Lobb (injured?), Poulter, Garcia, Harmes, & Clarke all have a role to play this year. Harmes & Garcia are putting great pressure on the lads in the firsts. Garcia probably has 8 votes in the league b & f.
Unsure on Busslinger, Scott (injured?), & Cleary.
Freijah looks great, Croft looks like he’s got it.
