Sharp is clear no.1. No one else is close to his work rate and intensity. You feel him looming large over every game SA played.

we should 100% be bidding on Zeke Uwland and Dylan Patterson, they are the only players that i'd want to draft. Greeves is proabbly the best candidate and ticks the most boxes but not in love with him. I'm very weary on Sharp, I just feel like he is a redundant archetype, exacerbated by the current midfielders on our list
Greeves is probably closest, but as Barnzy said, his defensive application is lackig, especially compared to Sharp who has had some special defensive efforts in champs.
Duursma is next but just isn't the midfielder either of the above two are. Brilliant overhead and beautiful mover.
Then its meh. Cumming, Marsh and Barker (shattered about his possible acl) are far more interesting then Grlj, Lindsay, CDT, Fred etc... IMO
I think we need to find a late ND pick for Harry Scott. He will be the next Durham/Newcombe.
Hotton's transition game particularly offensively looks like exactly what we're after from his VFL stints. He charges to the next contest and is often there to crumb having just previously been at the last contest. And then how often has he bobbed up between the arcs as an outlet. I'm not sure he will spend much time charging into D50 though as he seems to be more mid/forward.

Happens in the champs. Smillie playing to team instructions got frustrated when he was burnt several times last year. Players being selfish because there’s a bit on the line or looking for their local team mates.

It's what so many complain about with our current inside mids. They let players waltz it out of the contest with no pressure. Greeves is flat footed around the contest unless he's a chance to get the ball.
Sharp over Greeves for me and quite easily. Right now based off that game I'm also taking the risk with Duursma due to athleticism over Greeves and hope you get his ball use to manageable state. It's not like Greeves is an amazing ball user anyways. He's just okay.
