I like it very much that the academy clubs are forced to pay up for their top end talent, but it's farcical and not a good look when over 50% of the first 7 selections have an A or a F by their names. There's a better way,there must be.

Picks mean nothing to the QLD teams. Hence why Brisbane played "hard ball" on Ah Chee. They're throwing away picks anyway.
