Below is the current draft order, I'm not going to allow more than 60 picks to be made as Cal Twomey has stated 44-57 players will be selected, if we can make a table or something like a banner to show whos been selected, will be very helpful for everyone involved as it makes it not confusing. Please don't spam the thread with messages either, makes it difficult to follow and doing write up on a prospect is totally optional if you really want to justify your reasoning and rational behind the selection.

Carlton gain a 23 point surplus for 2026.

Carlton now officially looking to move up the draft order. Will offer their F3 as well as pick 50 to move up.

Eagles will accept if nobody else does before that pick

For those who might be wondering, we have officially entered the zone where bids can be matched by any pick regardless of their points value.

With their final selection in the draft Geelong select Taylor Byrne.

Despite already drafting a forward in Noah Hibbons-Hargreaves earlier in the piece, Geelong are keen to add to their forward line mix as a number of the current small/half forwards will push into the midfield over the next few years. Byrne is fast and ferocious and adds more speed up forward.

Done.

Carlton select Louis Emmett with their last pick of the draft.

Going in I really only wanted to match a bid on Dean, take Dovaston and match a bid on Ison as I thought it would come in the early 30's and force me to use both picks but the longer it took the more I hoped I could trade up to 35/36 to get ahead of the bid and get into the free matching zone. I really wanted Lydowyke but figured he wouldn't last till then. Overall:

Harry Dean (Murray Bushrangers, 194 cm, Key Defender): Dean is the best pure KPP in the draft and there wasn't a scenario where I wouldn't have matched. Very easy to see him and Harry O'Farrell combining next year alongside Weitering to learn the tricks of the trade.

Lachlan Dovaston (Eastern Ranges, 178 cm, Small Forward): Dovaston would have a big circle around his name at Carlton, he's the perfect choice at their second pick as the premier small forward in the draft, having a burst of speed and a knack of finding the goals, kicking 47 goals in 20 games this season across the CTL and Champs.

Jack Ison (Oakleigh Chargers, 190 cm, Utility): Was really hoping he'd slip into the free matching zone but he unfortunately missed by one pick as I'd organised a trade for pick 36 if Threadgold had made it one more pick. Will be interesting to see where he ends up, I think with his very damaging left foot kick I'd play him on the wing.

Louis Emmett (Oakleigh Chargers, 199 cm, Key Forward/Ruck): I was considering one other player here but for the sake of others still picking I won't mention him. Emmett is a very athletic forward/ruck, modeling his game on Luke Jackson, I see him and Hudson O'Keefe forming a formidable pairing in the future, but for right now I see him working with Marc Pittonet in the reserves to learn.

Pick 41 North Melbourne Riley Onley Murray Bushrangers 195cm Midfield/ Wing

I have three blokes in my top 30 still available.
I have selected Onley here as he has enormous upside.
Big bodied midfielder or winger who can run and win the football.
Skills are passable but not elite but has depth on his kick.
I think Riley will have a fair bit of work to do around positional play as I think Riley has got by on his size and athleticism. However Riley has the potential to be a very imposing big bodied midfielder in the future.
Joel Frejah is an obvious comparison. I also see a little bit of Dan Curtin as a winger in the way Riley goes about it.
