Who is stating that? Big call, considering you know, our head coach just got the boot a day ago.
Yeah exactly. If Lamb or Richardson are saying it should mean very little, (you'd hope) it would be up to the new coach.

What are your top ten reasons for barracking for Frankston (after Casey) Sugar?
Well being local these days. And others do barrack for them around here.

And after the weekends game... beating the blues, I sort of feel a liking for them... and they have Biffo's grand-son playing for them.

All that I guess.

we should be having a crack at Darcy Wilson and Luke Pedlar. both would be perfect for us.
Look at Carlton... the way they've turned out, by trying to whiteant players from other clubs, over going to the draft more often.

See what happened to US, when we spent most of our 2nd Rnd picks, etc, on players to backup our 4 main men.. over the past few drafts.
Billings, Fullerton, etc etc.

I'm sure there would have been some we could have had a shot at from the draft, with the picks we gave up for spuds..

Spuds come cheap... and real talent comes at a premium.

Carlton’s pick would probably be 12-13 after NGA, FS and free agency compo. (Currently pick 8 on projected end of season ladder).

Pick 13 in a shit draft + Mitch Lewis is probably still slightly unders for Trac who is a known commodity and currently contracted.
There is NO way we'd trade Tracca out, for anything outside a Top 10 pick this year.

And I wouldn't be trading Tracca at all, unless he has had it with us.

To me, the only real tradable players are Lever, Fritta, and Oli. Really... I want us to trade them.

Viney Tracca Maxy and May are players we can use to build our next strong Team around, for the next two years.

And in two years time, our next young demographic of players will be ready for the bigger games, coming our way.

Personally I'd move on one of Lever or May,
Keep the best players. of the footy.
Oliver and Petracca if he wants to go.
Keep the best players. of the footy.

We lost the best leader, last year. ANB.

And so many people on footy sites wanted ANB gone in his first years, at the club.

I would be open to trade Lever and Salam.
:thumbsu:
Oliver has to stay and get better kickers around him.
Move Langdon to high half forward( the old Neal bullan role)
:thumbsu:
I would like like to see Sparow moved to half back and take Salam role. ( sparrow can be good overhead and is a good long kick)
:thumbsu:
This opens room for Culley/langford to play a tall wingman.
:thumbsu:
Lindsay as halfback. Making rivers a full time mid.
:thumbsu:
Trac to play forward and become what melksham is for us!
:thumbsu:
Petty to CHB swingman

People actually have to want to give 2026 picks. In our case it's a buyer's market and they will be offering 2025 picks knowing the draft sucks.

I don't care if Lever and Salem go for a couple of second rounders this year. Trac and Fritsch both have plenty of years left and the talent to get back to their best - do not trade.
In a time when tall defenders of any ability are a rare commodity... and most top teams are screaming out for them... Lever is worth much more than a 2nd Rnd pick.
Salem a 3rd Rnd pick, if at all.

Oli would net us a late 1st Rnd, or early 2nd Rnd pick, this draft. We would have to tidy up some of his contract... This should be our first job with the new brush coming in.

If they're still chasing the stupid training in the middle of the racecourse thing then we're still just as ****ed. Moron city
I agree.

If they want to go training inside a racing track... then we'd be better of at Sandown raceway, where we would have a lot more room, and options available to us.

So according to 'Gettable', Jake Lever and Fritsch aren't going anywhere. Lever and Fritsch are adamant that they love the dees and don't want to go anywhere else.
Of course they do.
And these two have had the biggest handbrake on us over the past couple of seasons, when we needed to be taking the game on more.

Now Fritta pulls the hand out of his pants... after he cops a warning over playing with Casey on a regular basis.
