If you can’t already tell, I don’t really give a stuff about Trade period. Just get to the end when the trades are done.

Yeah that's right but discussions would still be happening. Like 90% of the deals happen on the last day regardless of how long the trade period is.

I love the drama of the trade period but made a pact a few years back to avoid every minute of trade radio until deadline day.

It’s just garbage.

Always starts off with excitement of what could be. Then reality hits first few days when we are reminded that we aren't a destination club and we have a dud for a list manager. Then slight excitement again the last couple of days hoping we will pull a rabbit out of a hat. Then totally deflated after listening to the minutes after trade deadline when we end up with Tim Lamb saying how excited he is in securing a Josh Schache

You mean six hours of nauseating Rheem and Continental Tyres ads, two hours of journalists guessing ridiculous trade packages (in between talking about what they're getting for lunch), an hour of interviews with stars like Alex Cincotta and Anthony Scott, and an hour of interviews with middle-aged men puffing out their chests about 'required players' isn't your idea of invigorating listening?

We got Mihocek and Heath this year.

What a run of recruits Lamb has against his name.

Sad thing is, that's probably his best trade period for 5 years. I cant see anything other than picks coming in for Trac. Maybe a pick upgrade for Oliver, 2nd rounder for McVee and Spargo and May looks like staying. A lot of average picks and a couple of ok players. Salary dump is good but we're paying 700k for someone to take Clayton lol. GC wont budge on Humphrey.

Saw an article saying Freo looking to try do some pick swaps as it’s acknowledged Mcvee value sits between there current picks in 12 and 33.

Pretty dumb, considering we could just do the pick swap directly by tossing back F2/27/41/55 or a combination of those with Mcvee for 12.

I think people are free to think what they want about it, if they want to get pissy get pissy, thats what being a supporter is about.

But im with you, I actually think it reflects worse on us than it does McVee, we couldn't do enough to make him want to stick around. Why should anyone have blind loyalty to this club given what's happened the past 2-3 years?
