We have a lot of holes. I think we'll look a the two damaging attacking mid/forwards in Robey and Cumming. I think we'll look at the big defensive inside mid in Sharp. I think we'll look at classy transition ball use in Lindsay and Farrow. We might even have a look at Schubert ourselves if we feel like we need another tall.

I don't really look at the draft that way. For me its all about their traits and deficiencies, and relative value at a given pick.

Overall though, I'll say that this draft has a high number of what in the fantasy NBA space we would call christmas tree players. Strong strengths paired with some obvious weaknesses. There are guys with amazing kicking skills that might lack athleticism, or guys who are elite contested marks but have dodgy kicking technique. Because of that you'll see a much wider range of opinions on where guys land in the rankings this year compared to most.

I think there will be a surprisingly high number of strong AFL players that come out of this pool, but getting your picks right will be more difficult than most years.

Thanks for sharing all of that info. Where do you think Jack Dalton will go? I’d love the Demons to look at him with pick 37 if he’s still available. Missed a lot of footy, but he’s got good skills, big ball winner, great runner and he’s a strong leader. I’m surprised he isn’t being rated much - reminds me a bit of the situation with Max Holmes

Got to be happy overall. We cleaned up on the Trac deal. Clarry deal is a cluster F. But we had to move him on. Steele will be a solid citizen type and experience with Clarry and Trac going. CJ will give us some run off half back where he’s played his best footy. His skills and decision making a watch though I guess.
The draft hand is great. Looking forward to the draft now. Better get researching.

They've sorted out Hogan, seems like Stringer's going alright. I actually think Hogan would be a great character around the club now, so don't include him in this, but you add too many questionable characters in and it's eventually gonna reach critical mass.
