First drop in rank since round 2. Absolute horror round with Oliver, Cerra and Daniel all unders and a handful of others about 5 points under par. I managed to catch the Short late out but wound up down a net 3 points and two more R12 players than I'd intended to field this round.

Seems like this year there is very little separation in the ranks, mate of mine captained Daicos by accident and had the short donut yet still scored 2130 odd and go up in the ranks.

Like everyone, I had issues (Lindsay, Merrett, Short-Hayes, VC Daicos, Daniel) but I got lucky with my captain choice.

I switched minutes before the game started (admittedly I'd been waxing and waning) and had the very rare occurrence where my captain was my highest scoring player (Bazlenko).

I also had a couple of relative uniques (Martin/Zorko) pull their finger out.

Just the most cursed week imaginable. Tell me how one person can cop all this in one week and it happens every single week:

Short late out. My emergency Hayes scores ok but then injured

Naicos VC. The second week in a row he gets tagged by a random nobody. 2 weeks I’ve had him. It’s just the same story for every premo mids I trade in, they just start to get tagged the week I get them after weeks of ZERO attention

Dawson another tag. He is useless and doesn’t care

Newcombe horrendous. Green run? Yeah nah he is a useless hack and has been throughout this easy run

Levi good but zero pt last qtr. how many ******* zero pt last qtrs am I going to cop this year. I swear if had about 5 of them the last 5 weeks it’s incredible

Rankine useless. Hackson Macrab proving why he is never a C option despite his ceiling this year

Helmet is just a soft campaigner. He needs to be punted out of my team for sure.

But injures to Hayes, Short?, Naic? Busslinger dead. Moraes sub dead. Stone dead. Lindsay cooked. It’s just a world of hurt and I can’t see any way out

It's because Sheezel is taking the kick ins now. But yes, other than the kick ins, what was Daniel even providing? He doesn't tackle, his kicks aren't elite anymore and he's too small.

Think he was more of a defensive role this week, taking himself out of the game for the team.

Tempted to hold him for Richmond and then offload, but he could drop another sub 80 score and drop below 800k.
He’s made his money, ok to move him next week ahead of r12 bye.

Shocking week, 2058 and lost most of my league match ups

2188.... up about 3000 spots and back in the top 5000.

Had similar shockers to many people in Daicos, Zerret, Dawson and Macrae, with Box and Cleary onfield. Could have scored 88 more with the C on Smith and fielding Binns over Box... thought about Smith, but was never going to field Binns on debut.

Project between now and byes is to get rookies off the field. Tricky as I have 6 of them to move, although Lashcroft and Zeid can stay.

I think will depend on bye structure.

Likely not to have too many r13 bye players, otherwise usual play of back loading is good- Ash, Martin for sure. Zorko? Trac? Green?
