Fixture 2025 Fixture Discussion

Remember in previous years the predominant discussion was who are our double ups? Seems we don't care anymore given weve had it as hard as anyone recently.

Fwiw - worst case scenario imo:
Top 6 - Sydney, Geelong, GWS
Middle 6 - dogs, blues
Bottom 6 - suns

I'm expecting this sort of fixture - but with no blues subbed for a smaller club (Saints, Essendon or freo).

I would go -
Top 6 - Geelong, GWS, Hawks
Middle 6 - Dogs, Collingwood
Bot 6 - Suns

Di they reveal the names of who we play for the whole season now? Or is it just the first half?

The GF rematch is normally a double up in the season off memory for the last few seasons. So probably safe to lock in Lions/Swans as a double up.
Pies/Lions happened twice
Geelong/Sydney happened twice
Dees/Dogs happened twice

The other implication of this is that it implies 3 consecutive 6 day breaks (or at least one 5 day break) from the North game to Essendon at home in Round 12. Can't see us having our second bye in Round 11.

So it looks like we'll be all over the shop. Again.

Hopefully it was be a successful Australia wide victory tour!
