Hopefully the Grundy thing is just precautionary.

Just saw this. Not good. I agree - hopefully just protecting him.

Mills & Grundy (& Parker) gone is quite a bit of leadership gone in a hit... Grundy out will heap even more onto Heeney's shoulders in the middle.

A few injuries, obviously would like a weeks timeline to have better estimates of their returns but is what it is.

Feels like Edwards, Snell, Datolli, McDonald will all be out for rd0

Mills Lloyd and Paps feel precautionary

Cunningham and Buller are tough to judge imo

EDIT: If Cunners has a Lisfranc strain feel like he is stuffed for RD0
Well, Mills out for more since tests. Not worried about that though. The others are all tracking well. McDonald to start around Round 2.

Mills is just one of those guys that is just perpetually injured. Annoying when he's the one we expect to lead the midfield. He was pinging calves at 22 can only imagine the state of him in a couple of years time.
I was watching at half time of the match and Gulden had all the mids together and was giving the Pep Talk. Future Captain.

He's an injury prone player from the start of his career until the end of his career.
He'll be 28 when he plays his next game.
That's 10 years for not much return from an Academy kid who went for way too high a draft pick & who has cost the club a packet in investment in such a program.

But have no fear folks! We have the next rising star from our academy to look forward to.
What do we call him Speedy

Guessing the results of the scan showed instead of it being soreness of the plantar fascia that it was in fact a tear and thats the reason why the timeline was extended. It is similar to Jagga Smith who Carlton and himself thought it was a minor injury and turned out he had fully done his ACL. Scan results can change initial thoughts around injuries

Looked clean at ground level, too. A good couple of one-touch handballs in a pack to release an open midfielder.
I was also impressed with young Green. His tap work was really good in the Resies game. Puts himself in good position around the ground too. We may have drafted a very top notch ruck

Anyone with inside knowledge know of the potential timeline for Grundy's knee injury?

Just heard (I don't know the reliability of the source) so take it with a grain of salt. But they said 4-6 weeks for Grundy
Better than a season. I remember Kels running off and didn't play for a year . Having had a few knee ops you never know, let's just pray . I'm excited to see Will Green get a game Friday

Agree, just don't know the reliability of the source. Especially hearing nothing on BF and X so thats why I posed the question in case someone had heard the same

Even with major injuries he is still playing on average 18 games a year.
In his draft class

When you look at that table it wasn't the best top end draft but realistically he is still the 2nd or 3rd best player in the draft and we got him for what im guessing 4 picks in the 40s?

EDIT: we picked him up with 33 36 37 and 43
Respectfully disagree 2nd or 3rd best player. Weitering, McKay, Oliver and Parish are better.

I think awards and everything suggests that Mills is way better than Parish but you are right about the other 3.

If you look at the whole draft class we got the 7th or 8th best player in the class for 4 picks in the 30s/40s
