Lord of the cucks Morris reckons we want to sign Tex Wanganeen…**** me dead we may as well sign up Nas’ grandparents too at this rate
Well we called for the club to bring his family here - I don’t mind it.
Interesting that he applied to move here just over a month ago.

SOS thinking outside the square?

And no guarantee we have to sign him after spending the summer training with us. Could sign him up for our new VFL team.

Edit: And a new housemate when/ if the others move out.

It will be funny when we take Tex to keep Nas and he walks anyway.

Nah don’t me wrong I agree with you, just hoping he 99% wants to stay and that’s something that tips him over to sign. Just thinking in my own head (without knowing anything obviously) that we try idea after idea then get to a certain point where it isn’t working that’s all

There's a big barrier to Port trying to acquire Nas that hasn't been talked about. Future trading rules state clubs have to use at least two first round draft picks in a four year period.

Port Adelaide's recent history:
2019 - 2 first rounders
2020 - 1 first rounder
2021 - 1 first rounder
2022 - traded out (Horne-Francis)
2023 - traded out (Horne-Francis)
2024 - 1 first rounder
2025 - traded out (Lukosius)

Only reason they could trade in Horne-Francis was they'd banked past uses in 2019. AFL would have to grant an exemption and Port has already had one one past trade blocked for trying to stretch future trading rules.

I suspect the AFL would only block that, if they thought we were getting hosed. Geelong broke that rule without anyone noticing a few years back.
