Correct, but their original pick is still tied to their finishing position, irrelevant of who owns it. So if they finish above us on the ladder that is TWO picks higher that we move in the draft. If they finish below us it is TWO picks that we move down in the draft order. Hence they are the only variable at this stage. The NGA/FS picks are not variables as they are not in the pool of players from whom we can pick in the draft........

The issue with Windy for me is decision making and ball use. He is definitely the sort of player that slams it on the boot without looking.

Contrast that to a Garcia who is showing signs of composure in traffic. If you lined up their stats they are probably similar, but Garcia looks far more promising.

I like Windy, but not sure he is going to make it as a midfielder. If he has been giving that feedback and he is feeling a bit offended, we should just lie to him until we get NAS's signature

Personally I think his ball use has improved this year. To an extent I think the ball use going inside 50 bar

So not completely beyond the realms of possibility that something like this got presented. But totally unrealistic that you get all 23 on the park together, Windy is very much a required player.

We will probably beat Tigers and North. The 2 swing games are Dees and Bombers. Need to lose both of those to ensure we finish below them.

Would be more then happy to pick our least experienced team possible for each of those games.

essendon and dees play before us this weekend,if they lose,especially essendon,i say we go full tank,watching suns and dees lay down last year to finish below us convinces me we are within our rights to do that

we have already found the perfect way to tank,we did it vs hawthorn,refuse to go for goal when within distance,kick it to a 1 on 1 and halve or lose the contest 97% of the time,no need to leave out good players or give them 60 to 70% tog

With AFL media and most player managers based in Melbs, they don't nurture the contacts interstate; why do you think Cal and friends have nothing to report week in and out? They're completely in the dark here. The lack of leaks is therefore, of itself, newsworthy
