Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
They'd need to be top 10Up to the Swans to find 'em. That is the price for Charlie.
Shannon has started to show consistent form this season, think along the lines of the Kennedy/Judd swap.If theyāre giving us Neale - we better be getting multiple first round draft picks too
Walter, Flanders and Moyle (In lieu of Reidy)Now we are talking (see very recent Hun article), Jed Walter has to be the centrepiece of any trade with GC, Chuck in Flanders and a favourable pick swap in this years draft and Iām sold

I donāt see how Austin and team survive after the draft.@ 6:28 BANG -
"as a senior player..I was hoping we were going to top up on talent and build on the prelim.. get some senior bodies to add - and we ended up getting Jagger Smith..."
It all boils down to where the Club decided to invest and the messages that gave the senior players regarding where the Club thought the playing list was at...
Some senior players ( including Docherty) wanted more senior players - the Club decided yeah naahhh.
show, two years in a row we added F all to the list. Iāve said it many times, the club over corrected from the reckless SOS and went with a roll over with no gumptioni'm with the club on this one, senior players had peaked imo
Holmes is actually younger than Neale.Shannon has started to show consistent form this season, think along the lines of the Kennedy/Judd swap.
So yes there would have to be more than just Shannon but posters on here have been naming Holmes, who is older and someone we could use but could also find elsewhere. Young Forwards not so much.
Reason for suggesting Shannon, big body like Thilthorpe, takes a contested mark and has good leading patterns.
my apologies, Neale is a month older. I thought Holmes was older as he has been playing more.Holmes is actually younger than Neale.
Maybe Doc should have spent the offseason practicing his skills instead of worrying about our recruiting.@ 6:28 BANG -

Donāt have to be both this year.If you were Port, would you trade Butters for two first rounders in a shallow draft?
million to one.
Theyāve already offered him a massive deal. If he tries to go FA Port will matchDonāt have to be both this year.
If he leaves as a FA next year, the best they can get is one first rounder straight after where they finish on the ladder.
Two firsts starting to look better if they are accepting he will leave.
Harsh.Maybe Doc should have spent the offseason practicing his skills instead of worrying about our recruiting.
Not if someone offered $2.5-3m for one season. That gets him through to unrestricted status and can walk the following year. Port wonāt pay that for one guaranteed season.Theyāve already offered him a massive deal. If he tries to go FA Port will match
AFL rules against that after DaniherNot if someone offered $2.5-3m for one season. That gets him through to unrestricted status and can walk the following year. Port wonāt pay that for one guaranteed season.
The new club will if followed by 5 years at about $1.1m, making it effectively a 6 year contract for $8m
Ok, then he is coming to the Blues for ālifestyleā reasons.AFL rules against that after Daniher
I donāt understand what youāre saying?Ok, then he is coming to the Blues for ālifestyleā reasons.
The AFL has already signed off on those type of deals
Theyāre not forced to do it. And not every player has it.Clubs are likely forced to include in their contracts by the (PA).
The increase in cap then means **** all, if you are wanting to attract players or use it to keep players. Itās soaked up by your existing contracted players.
Any player payments for the growth of the game, should be between the AFL and the players. Not clubs salary cap.
Curnow to SydneyAny chance we let Charlie go to Swans, they send 2 first rounders to Port and we get Butters?
So he takes a massive pay cut for a 1 year contract next year, then has to stay at Port when they match, that drops him out of their top 25% and they get no compensation when he leaves as an unrestricted FA at the end of it.I donāt understand what youāre saying?
They allowed the dodgey Daniher move, and then closed the loophole.
