Yes if Geelong manage to pony up i am not overly fussed, however the smug arrogance of anyone involved with Geelong sh 1 t s me and the fact they continue to pick up top line players for well under market rates means it would make me ill if us gifting them the missing piece would sting. The whole Charlie is willing to play at Geelong for less $ than he is on at Carlton also makes me on top of this if we dont play finals this year I think there is a real chance Sam Walsh leaves for Geelong at the end of 26.

Charlie can gun for whatever he likes. If the price set by Sydney is true (Pick 10, F1, Hayward, F2) then it’s up to Geelong to better that.

If not, tough luck he can either go to Sydney or suck it up and run out in our forward line again next year.

I’m guessing there’s some funny buggers on our/Sydney’s part too leaking some early ‘offers’ through the media to keep them honest.

i do doubt geelong will have to give their top pick for marshall - what leverage does St Kilda have? they HAVE to shift Marshall and Steele - they wont get appropriate value - can you see Mackie say "yeah, Rowan Marshall is worth a late first round pick, we are all friends here - HE PAID PICK 17 for Bailey Smith

- that said jack steele would also have been deeply useful on grand final day to the cats - maybe both for their first rounder...

I have a feeling Dogs are going to try and play hardball which Khamis, he is contracted so they are not obligated to let him go, and I wouldnt want to pay a lot. I think we should try a late bid for Leek Aleer, has much better upside than Baku and feel the price would be similar.

We lack small forwards that can kick goals in the air and off the ground. Makes it very easy for defenders to peel off and double/triple team our talls.

They just signed him and haven't brought in anyone that would nessecarily push him out of the team. If hes looking at moving could only think hes been given a nudge for salary reasons.
