contracted for next year. Needs a big year to continue his careerWhat's the go with Boyd?
That's disgusting, giving up a dual coleman medallist contracted for another 4 years on 700k way unders, for that is absolutely disgusting.
We have the best forward in the game when he's uninjured locked in for a steal for 4 years.
F that manager. I'd be holding, a lot of weak hands on bigfooty
Really just goes to show the entitled nature of some of the so called 'leaders' that teh Club has had to put up with. ALl this has been 'accelerant' added by TDK's ridiculous contract - a real bomb into Carlton - no doubt a nice revenge from two rejected people - and the cherry on top a fat contract for the son ...so much operatic melodrama going on - with curnow now showing true colours "I wanna go home' and have an easy drive .Who cares?
Unless Geelong pony up, he'll go to Sydney or stay. Charlie will not be the one to dictate the terms of the trade...

I have no love for Geelong, or Sydney, a bit of a soft spot for the Suns, somewhat diluted by their now coach.SEN reporting Charlie is gunning for Geelong, I would rather hold him to his contract than make the Cats better, and cant see any way they would be able to put up enough that would satisfy us.
Well Charlie is about to find out how much the Cats actually rate and desire to get him.SEN reporting Charlie is gunning for Geelong, I would rather hold him to his contract than make the Cats better, and cant see any way they would be able to put up enough that would satisfy us.
Yes if Geelong manage to pony up i am not overly fussed, however the smug arrogance of anyone involved with Geelong sh 1 t s me and the fact they continue to pick up top line players for well under market rates means it would make me ill if us gifting them the missing piece would sting. The whole Charlie is willing to play at Geelong for less $ than he is on at Carlton also makes meI have no love for Geelong, or Sydney, a bit of a soft spot for the Suns, somewhat diluted by their now coach.
If he goes, IDGAF where he goes, the only proviso is that the suitors pays what we require. A first rounder this year and next, or perhaps two next year that aren’t likely to be 16-18 and a good to great player or players. The lower the pick(s) the better the player(s) must be.
Simples.
After all of the discussion, I think I prefer him gone, but I am banking on a refocused club led by a great group of kids to turn things around and drag Charlie and any other conditional types that may survive, along with them.
on top of this if we dont play finals this year I think there is a real chance Sam Walsh leaves for Geelong at the end of 26.It's always been about Geelong.SEN reporting Charlie is gunning for Geelong, I would rather hold him to his contract than make the Cats better, and cant see any way they would be able to put up enough that would satisfy us.
Charlie can gun for whatever he likes. If the price set by Sydney is true (Pick 10, F1, Hayward, F2) then it’s up to Geelong to better that.SEN reporting Charlie is gunning for Geelong, I would rather hold him to his contract than make the Cats better, and cant see any way they would be able to put up enough that would satisfy us.
i do doubt geelong will have to give their top pick for marshall - what leverage does St Kilda have? they HAVE to shift Marshall and Steele - they wont get appropriate value - can you see Mackie say "yeah, Rowan Marshall is worth a late first round pick, we are all friends here - HE PAID PICK 17 for Bailey SmithNot sure how Geelong get Charlie, as you feel their first pick would be to Marshall who has nominated them and they have linked themselves with him all season
Marshall is a great ruck man and can play forward and will be a better prospect than Charlie alone in my opinion, Marshall will immediately make them better
I have a feeling Dogs are going to try and play hardball which Khamis, he is contracted so they are not obligated to let him go, and I wouldnt want to pay a lot. I think we should try a late bid for Leek Aleer, has much better upside than Baku and feel the price would be similar.Would like to see the khamis reidy chesser deals get done early
Saints are paying 750k x 4 for Aleer.I have a feeling Dogs are going to try and play hardball which Khamis, he is contracted so they are not obligated to let him go, and I wouldnt want to pay a lot. And most likely a genuine salary dump so would come for quite little I'd think.we have been link to a potential new home for Ben Ainsworth
Would be a good move best 22 player
Plays the high half forward role well and links up through transition.
Fills a need and improves our team
We lack small forwards that can kick goals in the air and off the ground. Makes it very easy for defenders to peel off and double/triple team our talls.we have been link to a potential new home for Ben Ainsworth

They just signed him and haven't brought in anyone that would nessecarily push him out of the team. If hes looking at moving could only think hes been given a nudge for salary reasons. And most likely a genuine salary dump so would come for quite little I'd think.
Good work by Austin if its the case, if it falls over and Charlie stays is there a way for us to still get Hayward in a stand alone trade?Charlie can gun for whatever he likes. If the price set by Sydney is true (Pick 10, F1, Hayward, F2) then it’s up to Geelong to better that.
If not, tough luck he can either go to Sydney or suck it up and run out in our forward line again next year.
I’m guessing there’s some funny buggers on our/Sydney’s part too leaking some early ‘offers’ through the media to keep them honest.
Fantastic news for usAnd most likely a genuine salary dump so would come for quite little I'd think.
No current season stats available
Overs for Bulldogs imo. Talent aside, JUH in his current state is absolutely not worth a 1R.With Jammara looking likely to end up at the Suns does this open the door for Walter to Carlton as part of the Curnow deal?
Sydney: Gain Curnow / Lose: #10, F1 & Will Hayward.
Gold Coast: Lose Walter, Ainsworth / Gain: Jammara Ugle-Hagan, #10 (Syd) & F2 (Carl).
Carlton: Lose Curnow, #9 & F2 / Gain Walter, Hayward, Ainsworth & Syd Future 1st.
Bulldogs: Lose: Jammara Ugle-Hagan / Gain: #9
