And you know what that means!?In contention for about our 4th Youngest Team in the Finals Trophy!
Pretty sure people say this almost every single year about the next years draft hahahaThis year's is very very average, next year's draft looks incredible
Don't forget that Chapman is very quick (scored in the top 20m sprint) and is a good kick at goal. Would love to move him to a wing which would open up his defence spot to Draper or Walker. He possibility could but his endurance would hold him back from it ever being more than short stints there.
It’s why I think chappys the almost perfect option there for us.
Has great endurance. Tall/very good mark, naturally attacking instincts/very good short kick yet also great defensively so is perfect to be able to get back and help out the defence as well
Plus with those traits he could be trusted a lot more than sharp say for example ,who we seemed to bypass entirely in alot of games for us ,to actually run a lot more of our offence through him and is also a shitoad more harder than Jeremy too
Is this a joke? Rankine kicked 5 goals and got 10 coaches votes that day.Good pick up re:McVee.
I implore you all to watch his performance against Adelaide this year in round 17. Was elite that day on Rankine and a performance that you’ll hopefully get from him for the next 10 years.

Yep.Fletcher is zero chance of coming here.
Zero.
There’s a lot of flexibility with the squad. It depends on the coaches to pull the trigger and try a few thingsWe need to get creative with some of our players so we can cram more talent into the team. Walker to the forwardline as a pressure forward is a great shout. He played there in his juniors. If a small forward is getting off the chain we can swing him down back.
We should also consider moving Chapman to the wing. He is quick, dual sided, takes the game on and can kick a goal. If it pays off we could bring in Draper or Simpson to take his spot in defence.
Disagree. Everyone knew he was good just that Scarlo didn’t like him. You could see from the few games he played for Geelong what we were getting. We did actually.
Clark wasn’t even playing regular AFL footy games when we went after him.
He was just a depth player at Geelong and we’re out here coughing up 2nd rounders and shit for him, was laughable really
Exactly, I think it is evident to everyone that we have enough talent on our list, we just need to find ways to cram them into the b22.There’s a lot of flexibility with the squad. It depends on the coaches to pull the trigger and try a few things
Doesn’t matter what that dickhead Matthew Scarlett thought of him.Disagree. Everyone knew he was good just that Scarlo didn’t like him. You could see from the few games he played for Geelong what we were getting.
What are 'they' saying about this year's draft?Pretty sure people say this almost every single year about the next years draft hahaha
That it’s garbage. What are 'they' saying about this year's draft?
I’m sure they were great.Watch the futures game?
Yeah its always a super draft next year... or this draft is super strong but next year is weak. That it’s garbage.
But they always say next years draft is WAY better then the current one.
No one ever actually knows how well each draft is until many many years later.
to be fair, I've been spot on with trade value since Luke Jackson. It won't be your 2nd, under no circumstances. It'll be your pick 11. and that's still a bargain.
From memory I don’t think he had much choice in the matter. We gave up a very early draft pick for him and Brisbane were happy to show him the door for it.Jaspa Fletcher is only a shade below Wil Ashcroft in talent. I’d agree, except the dad is Brisbane through and through, the post GF interview sort of implied he regretted leaving Brisbane before the three peat. I got the feeling he regrets joining us, so imagine the sway he would have over the son.
To be clear, will these be posted to us or will it be some sort of voucher for them at Woolies? It’s important to hammer out the details in any negotiation.

He's better than Banfield and has a decent left foot.I wouldn't even know what McVee looks like.l, let alone if he is any good?
Is he worth taking? What would he add to us
