For reserved seating for the "replacement" home games you need to use ticketmaster for round 1 v bulldogs and ticketek for round 10 v Tigers.I am a member (for 30 years). DO i have to buy tickets to go to the games this year?

can't seem to get into my account. I thought it was a problem with the ticketmaster phone app but logging in on my web browser does the same thing. I click sign in on the North membership page, it redirects me to ticketmaster, and the page never loads. Has anyone else experienced this?
No cost for replacement game seats and you can always sit somewhere else. Here’s a hot tip
Don’t buy seats
You end up sitting beside Opposition flogs
Save your money
It’s a rort

Annoying as that is it bothers me little. Have a 14 going on 15 year old that I struggle to keep engaged with football (guessing him seeing us win 1 game live in 5 years doesn't help when he already sees it as a chore) - I just want a seat so I can turn up 15mins before and maximise the chances that he'll want to watch this team play 5-10 years from now. Sitting in an empty stadium for 1.5 hours to stake out seats before a 3hr game doesn't make friends with teens (or any kids). Here’s a hot tip

There is nothing stopping the club selling games and having better allowances for reserved members - they just want the cheapest option for them. That's their prerogative, it's ours as the paying customers to stomp our feet when we get a subpar experience for our money. You're spot on, if they didn't sell the games, they wouldn't have been able to wipe out the debt, the club would have ceased to exist, and we would never have to worry about Ticketmaster at all.
They must have fixed thus now. Gave it a go says no entitlementI just purchased L3 premium reserved seats for the Essendon game. I punched in our membership barcodes just to see if they were ‘valid’ and to my surprise they were. I believe we have no membership rights whatsoever for this one as it’s an away game so expected to pay full price, ie gen adm plus the reserved seat component. Paid just $23 adult and $23 for a student conc ticket (the reserved seat component only). That’s it. Surely a mistake but I’ll take it.

Seems really early to be hitting 40k.41,043.
I basically dread using the Ticketmaster app. As you said, the password confusion is an absolute abomination. Not sure if it's the same but i had the situation last year where I had 2 different accounts connected to the same email address. One for the club and a separate one for Ticketmaster. The accounts kept getting confused and i had to ring the club to sort it out. All working ok so far this year. It was to do with how they link your ID in the background.
I remember the days 40k was met with an announcement including fireworks and balloons
I've never been able to permanently solve it.I basically dread using the Ticketmaster app. As you said, the password confusion is an absolute abomination.
We get plastic tickets but for the reserved seat matches it is unavoidable unfortunately.I've never been able to permanently solve it.

You're welcome.
We re-joined early at the end of last season and requested plastic. To my surprise, we got the cards early. Last year mine arrived about 3 weeks into the season even though my father in law's came weeks earlier. We signed up in the same phone call as we always do.I asked for the plastic card last year but it never arrived
Agree, it is a painful system all round. Should not be this complicated.
