I reckon Croft could make a great CHB gives me Darcy Moore vibes with his run

Not sure his read on the game is as good as Moore, but he’s definitely got similar aggression at the contest both ground and aerial.

The worry is the coaches seem set on introducing some versatility in to his game which suggest they don’t see him as a moral in the backline.

It’s cliche, but I reckon there’s a bit of unicorn about him and he could settle in one of several positions… Forward, wing, backline.

Not a bad situation to be in with a player of his energy and unique physical attributes.

Very dangerous to have this ace up our sleeve on game day. Bevo would want to get games into him asap.

Interesting move. I presume it's not permanent, but he wouldn't be the first FF to have his career resurrected when swung to FB!

Can't see him playing round 1 but I can see him getting a couple of senior games in the later half of the year.

Bunch of reasons to try JUH down back, but most of all it can only help his development. If he’s lining up against Naughty in training he’ll get an idea that he still has a way to go for work rate and something that can add to his game.

He’s also not up for AFL selection so it might be done to keep his mind fresh during this adjustment period back into the full program.

You might be spot on though. Maybe the coaches have said to Naughty (a leader at the club), we’re going to dump Jamarra as a defender on you for a few sessions, work him over like you would any other defender in the comp and show him what it takes to work hard as a forward.

What makes you think that? As far as I'm aware he doesn't mind playing anywhere.

I tend to agree. Even if he could be successful in that role, there would be a multitude of clubs happy to welcome him with open arms as their primary forward target.

I don't think he will play in the backline long term but I wouldn't have thought Lobb would either. If Jamarra is successful in defence it'll only drive up his price. Also I'm not sure where his mentality sits but he may not want to be the primary forward target given the pressure and scrutiny that comes with it especially with the added pressure of being a high profile trade.

If you haven't paid attention your problem being agitated by it.

Should not have played the final and can see why the Saints pulled their offer of 2 firsts if this was true.

Has a long way to go to justify his position. Hope he does but that is down to him
