Did the commentators say the GWS side has 16 AFL listed players playing today?!
Correct. 16 AFL listed v 5 AFL listed for Sandy. Essentially a suburban outfit against a strong state league team. Best we can hope is that Henry, Tauru etc get some miles in the legs and avoid injury. Could be a very ugly scoreline by the end.

If this doesn’t incentivise Butts and Henry to work their rings out for Saints selection nothing will.

Should also work for blokes playing in the seniors.

"Don't make me send you to Sandy!"

Don't mind the look of Campigli, Williams. Williams kind of sharing the "left foot bomb kick out" duties with Arie.

Taura with a quality mark earlier on. Got in front of Gruzewski to outmark him.

Henry playing on the ball. Don't think he'll make it in that position, doesn't have that killer instinct to hunt the ball as a mid. High half forward is his thing.

No decent ruck, no Boxshall, Garcia or decent midifeld Sandy product in the middle.

Backline rebounds, GWS spoil for stoppage, GWS win stoppage, enter forward 50. Rinse and repeat.

How do we go about establishing our own VFL team? Sandy are a shambles.

How does Elwood shape up with Sandy? He was the big great hope last year with a father/son selection? Any chance he could make it? Or did the Saints make the right call?

Basically quite a few players need to play a great game against Port today to keep up the selection squeeze.
No doubt there is pressure on selection but my main point was OP not understanding the role that Henry plays and the fact his VFL form hasn't warranted selection ahead of anyone yet. Keen to see him soon though.
