The only player who I thought could one day take over form Howe down back (before he left) was Ollie Henry.
I think he would make a good back man if swung down there, and who knows, we may get him back one day.
Yeah I'm all for it.

Providing he has a plums transplant.

You mean when he grows up? ;)

I always wondered if Himmelberg could be that guy (obviously not for us, sadly)

Alex Davies in his first game of season for Suns against the premiers-
30 disposals
7 clearances
10 tackles

Trade cost would be a lot less than Flanders

I was all over him last offseason, but seemed GC were unwilling to let him go, and he ultimately penned an extension until the end of 2026.

News recently is that he wants out for more opportunity, 193cm mids don’t grow on trees and he seems to have a nice balance of speed and strength, with good football nous.

Reckon he’s a player that plays up in standard as well, his VFL stats don’t scream out at you but AFL form when not sub is pretty strong.

Was shocked he extended with them, but would love another try. He’s a tackling machine - regularly close to double digits when he gets time in the middle

Are you sure he's quick enough?. My God, he looked treacle slow. I'd wait and see how he goes next week and the week after. I would much rather a faster midfielder. Players like him need to be able to produce that every week, I'm not sure he can.

He’s not quick, but I reckon he’s fast enough. He looked alright when he caught Bailey in F50 yesterday.

He'd add depth, but I don't think he'd improve us - we've already got midfield depth. I don't see why we'd go there unless they thought he could jump a level.

He’s probably not attainable for any price we’d be interested in given he’s contracted, but I’d be interested to see him compared to Long. Probably a bit redundant though.

Can’t wait for Rowell when he’s a free agent though (or Butters :) ), far out he can play!

I don’t think I’ve seen a player do so much for a team who’s bog average, his willingness and intent to hunt the footy and win the ball is unmatched in the AFL imo

he is an ex basketballer who modelled his game off pendles.

There is no doubt he has issues with Carlton but not sure that translates to not hating Collingwood.

Had a chat to him in 2023 and he said he hated to admit it but he loved watching Collingwood play. I said so you would be happy to see a Pie flag? His reply. "Come Sept I will hate Collingwood as.much as I ever do".

I did ask Jo the same year about Jack coming to the Pies. At that time she said she would be very happy. Happy esp to get him away from Voss cause as she said. "He cant coach". That was shortly after Jack had been dropped. She reckoned it should have never happened and in retrospect she was right.
You’d be amazed at how a parents mindset can change when their kid plays for a club they always hated.

You know i am really surprised sos didn’t offer Jsos a contract to play at st kilda.
Probably didn’t want another conflict of interest situation.
