Mental from St Kilda. Just insane numbers.

Morris says Jack will meet with them in the next few days + complete a medical. He will then decide between Pies, Dogs or Saints.

Honestly if Carlton get band 1 compo out of all this I won’t be happy. Would rather him go to the Dogs lol.

Helps when your dad is pulling strings. One of the worst cases of nepotism I’ve seen..::

Treloar would be a huge bonus at little money. Don't worry about the panic merchants who are worried about him. We manage him through the season like all the other old campaigners in our side. His boby is already healed as we speak
The Manic Medical Franchise might need a quick recap on chronic soft tissue injuries in ageing athletes. Every calf tear increases the likelihood of more tears. I wouldn’t declare Ads as “healed” when he hasn’t played senior football.

But Google told me he's healed. He was going to play this week but they just decided not to bother. As a qualified doctor I have to say that every tear heals at twice the strength. He would have to have new tears to be injured again. We've seen players get over injuries at 32yo. It's easy to forget we just extended Howe at 33yo with a very similar injury

Dangerfield has had a fair few hamstring injuries since he was Treloar's age. Doesn't stop him from playing 18 games a year at a really high standard.

If we're going all in again for next year, a well managed Treloar would be insatiable. We aren't in a position to go get an elite midfield/Wing but a fit and available Treloar is almost just as good. Not expecting an AA but he would add plenty

6 more games makes him father son eligible. His daughter can play for 3 clubs.

I wouldn't be against this on a one year deal if all our other targets fall through. Could be a genius move. The question is, would he want to?

I'd do it. The potential upside of the last bloke we add to our list vs the potential upside of a couple of years of Treloar. I'm betting on Treloar.

You need to find a new medical school. That “twice the strength” b/s might be something you heard about bone fractures. Soft tissue injuries are tears in muscle fibres. Those strands never repair “straight”. They leave scars. And each tear increases the chance of future tears.

And without one piece of actual knowledge I’d say that in elite footy players calves and hammies are far more likely to get to the chronic tear stage than groins. They cop far more stress

I like Treloar and it's nothing personal, but didn't we get rid of him because he's kind of a spud.

The whole thing might be ludicrous but if we want quality depth for the midfield, it probably doesn't get any better

Bucks wanted to play control, whereas Treloar isn't great in terms of control but is a very good chaos player, so he was the one to go when we chose to dump salary.

What about Howe at 34yo and the same issues. Muscle fibres defiantly strengthen when torn. It's the scaring that strengthens them. Maybe try and convince my doctor because I've experienced it and have been treated for it for years from a doctor. I've no issue with not getting Treloar but you're not on the money here I'm afraid. Once again, it's the same reason we extended Howe, otherwise he wouldn't be offered another contract

No. Gun. Increasingly injury prone, possibly because the Dogs have a less expensive fitness team and play at Docklands.

Might be worth a Punt if he cost nothing,, and would send the critics insane.

Does that include Elliott (trade) as part of the plan?
Thinking that we’d be able to get Humphries as a part of a deal for an unrestricted free agent is fanciful to say the least.
