Could just ask them. C4[2]Yo`DooR was bang on with May as I shared about 24 hrs ago and I have no reason to doubt that they’ve heard something re JDG’s future. I’ve only ever seen hits from them over a long period of time.

I have no more insight than anyone else.

But if we assumed for a sec that it was true... as a dad, I struggle to understand why an expecting couple would walk away from such a massive sum of money. No matter what the plan is. Just find a way to make it work for at least a couple more years, surely.

Alongside Aisha he has bought a farm an hour outside Melbourne which gut feel tells me Aisha has settled into. I’m sure the club will do everything they can to accommodate the change in JDG’s life as he welcomes a new child, but that commute is a big commitment for a first time dad alongside the pressure that no doubt comes his way as a star of the biggest club in the land. Not to mention that he’s set for life through endorsements and connections post footy.

The Ray White tour hinted at it being much more than that, but I’m sure he’s happy to live out of there for now. Who’s to say though that that will be the case when Aisha is living on the farm with their new born? I’m not suggesting it’s happening only that it wouldn’t shock me in the same way it would shock you.

Far from it. My absolute preference is JDG retires a 4 time minimum premiership player. I’m a realist though and see information shared by a poster with a good track record on these things along with what my partner has shared of Aisha on Instagram. That then leads me to not dismiss it out of hand as I did Collingwood paying Treloar in full back in 2020…

You're jumping at shadows. That poster's two posts were ridiculous. In minutes he went from Jordy "in talks with club" about retirement to Jordy likely to retire. To me, that sounds like shit stirring. I had a bit of a look at Aisha on Instagram(good catch Jordy!). Not sure that tells me she is readying herself to permanently join the cast of A Country Practice? She might be trying it on to get a Primary Production exemption on land tax.

As for Treloar, we were able to front load part of our obligations. That was the concession the dogs made after the confusion(mainly created by us) over the future obligations. PM me if you and Pexy want the details in full.

What would shock me most is him throwing $1.6m out the window with a family on the way.

Other players have a second property they are renovating, such as Membrey, who has 3 kids including a newborn.

Anyway, looking at that C4 postings, he gets plenty of stuff wrong & comes across as a bit of an attention seeker.

Us Olds are better at reading people. The Youngs should listen and learn.

I beg to differ. Jumping at shadows would be me believing it’s a goer. At this stage I’m open to it as a possible outcome due to life circumstances.

I was also quite tongue in cheek with the Treloar stuff. I’m familiar with the company you keep and whilst I stand by the reporting over your feedback I don’t for a second doubt the level of where it’s come from and understand completely why you’ll stand by it.
