Ok....my daughter and I were talking May. She came out of her room laughing about May getting the arse, but I think it would be an astute pick up, we lack depth and are relying on Moore and Frampton. My daughter still thinks I'm nuts.
McInnes is unproven, it would be great to see him succeed but cannot be relied upon at this stage, Frampton is serviceable, Moore is a star but one man, Howe is 35 and injury prone, not surprised given his age, can't blame him. I'd even consider Lever.
Both have been fairly consistent averaging 17 games a year.
Look forward not back. I might be crazy but our defence is one long term injury from leaking like the tank top level of the Titanic.

I'd completely forgotten about this. Suppression order in place. Missed the whole year and in serious trouble.

Hard not to think if this were Collingwood reporters would be going hard at the club all year about culture or anything else they can find. Don't have to report on the player directly.

Have heard that he has approached us and Port and we’ve said “No” because he was no good for our culture.

If we did say yes, where would he play? He still may be better than a late pick in this draft or a rookie for not much $$

Disappointing if true. Theres a lot of players a hell of lot worse off with injury on way less money that push through. You're a long time retired and it'll be a huge regret when hes 40 if he pulls the pin early

Yeah most definitely but I suppose it’s hard to know what players go through mentally and everyone deals with things differently.

But now Jordy has come out the other side of it - reckon that would change his perspective.

Not too many jobs pay as well as football. Reckon he plays on......surely.

We can only hope……maybe the lifestyle change and newborn on the way and the fact his body is holding up atm will help him refocus.
