but some have it as 190cm

my argument is that we are playing 2kpf and 1 ruck which is less than most sides and less than what we did second half of last year

Hawthorn are running just Chol primarily. Sicily/Gunston chopping out but even then Sicily is 189cm, Gunston was 193cm at his peak due to aging is probably sitting comfortably at 180cm
Although its not really about height and more about play style IMO.

We didn’t last year but we still played the 3 talls in the second half of the year

merely pointing out we are now playing shorter than then so there is room to go back to that

Me neither. But I also don't think some vaguely competitive performances last year amongst total dross overly supports it either.

Well then the point is it is one to monitor as the season goes

But there is room to do either

Anything to avoid bombing the pill in to our forward 50 simply cos we have an extra tall. Quick ball movement and the lowering of eyes trumps anything to do with height. The game in its current iteration is all about speed and forward half pressure. In any case, we don't have a quality tall in the reserves to bring in atm. Yes the crows play tall, but their biggest weapon is elite kicking.

Yep. Expecting four players to be guaranteed to take on 3 spots is optimistic for mine. Be great if it happens, odds are though we still need more talls to have a consistent contending team in 2-3 years.

We definitely need to add another key forward and defender, whether via trade or draft, because of Logue and Chom's injury (knock on wood) history. Also, likely at least two out of CCJ,Teakle, Pink and Kal Dawson get cut this year.
