Funny you say that. One of my 48 mates (Russky - not his real name) works for the KGB part time. He actually posts on here occasionally.
But he was saying that he sees a future KGB spy in Signor Brady with the way he monitors negotiations and gets deals done.
At first I was agog, but then when you hear about Biggy and Sellers sudden departure, you start to wander……

I'm convinced we'd do better drafting in solid state league players to perform roles around our high-end kids than continually taking in those fringe players.

If we can't attract A & B graders from other Clubs - not sure that continually hitting C & D graders achieves much.

Exactly. Go find and draft the next Mannagh or take a punt on a Latrell Pickett or Taylor Byrne.

They probably looked up champion data and saw he was an elite inside 50 three years ago (46% of his kicks inside 50 were marked in that season). We are horrendous kicking the ball inside 50, but surely you can find others who can do that who have more strings to their bow. Maybe you get a bit of benefit in getting the I.P. of what the Dees did under Darren Burgess during preseasons, but I'd rather use that list spot on someone else in the draft.

We seem to go from having a position which is void then over compensating and getting too many . Maybe they think the ones we have can be upgraded

I'm sure that's part of it, but upgrade it with someone better than Spargo.

Sounds like Windhager stays at Saints, Starcevich Lions or WCE, McVee to Dockers.
Not sure on Bond, is Kemp the spud from the Blues, don't know much about them to be honest.
Freo gave Erasmus a contract offer but hasn't signed, not sure on his kicking.

Switowski would be a reasonable get, I’d doubt freo let him go
