Reef was on my side, the aami park side for a while. Did some running, then went inside mid way through. Hopefully he isn't having symptoms. But I'll see if he is there tomorrowNot much for me to report because my boy was acting like a real sideswipe!
- They stepped up the competitiveness from last week and the intent seemed to be territory from contest. Nothing clean and it was real match scenario training. The experienced guys pretty much ran the show.
- Aside from his size McGuane did not look out of place for a kid 6 months shy of 18. I’d love him to find another couple of inches, but I don’t think it’ll be an issue if he’s willing to put the work in like a Neale or Jaicos.
- I don’t love how Ryan trains. It may be nothing, but he comes across as taking the mickey like Steele or Markov the thing is Steele has a 15 year body of work behind him compared to Ryan’s 15 minutes and that’s Markov’s shtick.
No Reef that I saw, but the numbers are good from what I’ve heard v the rest of the league with Mitchell, HH and JDG obviously the other concerns. Naicos looked to be at the same point as Jaicos and JDG from last week so my guess would be he’s in full training next week.
I thought he was looking promising in the forwardline to be honest - we just never gave him a full game of it. He'd often come on as sub late and kick a couple, or kick a few and then get subbed off.I think most of us are surprised it’s taken so long to try him on the backline; the position he may be most comfortable playing.
Agree, but from what Ive seen so far, this backline move may look even better. Sometimes its easier to see the play in front of you and the ability to set up the attack from defence.I thought he was looking promising in the forwardline to be honest - we just never gave him a full game of it. There's another renegade apostrophe - "father-son's".![]()

21 games in 18 & 23 is the most games he's played in a season, I think.Keeping him fit is another thing. I can't recall the last time he played a full season
Says a lot about his importance21 games in 18 & 23 is the most games he's played in a season, I think.
